Hey ROTARYROCKET7,
Thanks for setting up a nice meet, I got there when it was too late but I was shocked on the turnout. I saw guys that I have not seen in a few years looking for the place. These are guys that are not on the forum so I asked them how on earth did they know about this meet?
Apparantly a lot of guys called other guys they knew that had rotaries or were in the rotary scene at one time or another.
You better set up another meet when it starts to get warmer or even in the winter since it looks like it might be warm in that military base. If you do, I am sure a LOT more cars will be there. A winter BBQ would be hot!!!

Oh and everyone kept asking me where was my car. I do own a RX-7 , ihave three actually. But my real car that actually has plates is my 87 GXL, i have no reverse, and my tranny is "sitting sideways", so i didnt want to driver her like that and mess something up. Also i need to put on my new falken tires cuase my tires are shot and one of them look like they are going to blow out pretty soon and i cant have that. The summer you guys will see Nancy.

The Cause of Death
So it looks like the next one is December 17. I won't have my car at the time, taking it down for the winter, off insurance and all that. But I will be there, and hopefully the other guys who have to put their cars down will still show up.
Again, great job setting this one up to Victor and Jason. Even though some of us got yelled at for not eating, it was a great time. In December I'll bring beverages and all that stuff, just to split up costs a little more fairly.
Thanks again, I had a good time.
Nice meeting those new faces!!

The Cause of Death
December 17 is the date for the next one, as of right now. It started at 11 am...
People kept showing up throughout the day, apparently...I got there at 12 and there were around 10 cars.
Come out for the one in December, represent the rotary!

The next meet according to Victor will be december 17.
Now my question to you guys is would you guys rather pay $5-10 to have food already there or would you prefer to bring your own food and eat what you brought?
Things get a little tricky as time progresses and more people show up. Also i would prefer the people to attend to have some type of rotary powered machine. I dont want people walking in off the streets because they see food inside nah mean. Im not saying people cant bring there kids or wifes, i want it to be a rotary meet for rotary people. SO when the summer hits the same faces you have been seeing all winter , you will see in the summer with there rotary cars.
So i need to know who is coming and we will make a list of whose attending so we know exactly how much food we need to buy if we will charge for entrance or how many people will be coming bringing there own food for example if we will be pooling our foods so we can designate what certain people should bring to eat so we dont have 10000 burgers and 100 buns lol.
We have a Month and half to plan so this meet should be much bigger, since people who are even on the forums have been hearing it thru the grapevine, so if your letting people know , tell us how many will be coming with you becuase we need to be more coordinated if more people show up.
Yesterday it was just me and victor and a army guy setting everything up and we did okay, for the amount of people that showed. But if i keep hearing about how many people were just going to show up that i didnt even know about we need to be more organized so we know whose coming and what is needed for a good meet.
Certain members have also contacted me and want to help. As it gets closer to the meet date we will find something for you guys to do. If you are interested let me know what you can do and how you would like to help and with any suggestions to make this a even better meet.
If anything feel free to contact me or victor any time. My info is all over the net so im easy to find.

If I would have known you were going to the meet I would have helped you find it...it took me circling the block like four times till I did.
See you next time.

So as of right now everyone is comfortable bringing there own food. Thats cool, you can share or exchange food with other people. So sounds cool. I just know that people need to eat at meets, cause empty stomachs dont make happy people lol. SO email me and victor lopez if your are going to the NYC Rotary Meet part 2 on December 17th 2005. If we dont know you are coming, theres a good possibility you might not get in. Space is limited

We didn't get a chance to venture in the armory ourselves, not like there were any rotorheads to mingle with, besides victor poppin' out and expaining the occurances that happend prior to our arrival. I will most likely be there in dec. Definately w/ out my t2 if there's white powder on the streets. Either way I will be there w/rotarychick and dan (her boyfriend) so don't try to step to her LOL. Anyways, much thanks to victor for the meeting/info and last but not least jason for the dedicated rotorhead on keeping all informed that arrived after the fact when the boyz in blue put this on smash. The day was not a total loss for me lol. At least I got my fc @ joe's shop LOL! Enough from me. I had a few brewski's.
I beeped you today beanz, your phone was off. Just wanted to give you my nextel bleep #. Ill hit you up tomorrow. NIce to meet you all
