I just spoke to Steve about getting another tuning session together in the near future. He said as of right now he's pretty much free. I was thinking of maybe getting together a session in August sometime if anyone is interested. If I get enough interest I will set a concrete date.

I'm open to ideas for a location. As of now I'm leaning towards the same place we've used the last three times, which is Car Version 2 in Wilmington Delaware. I'm not sure of exact pricing yet, but I'll get it all worked out.

Hey dan,

I'm interested, but not really for dyno tuning. I need Steve to check out my AFR's since e10 fuel is everywhere now and Sunoco Ultra 94 is no longer available. Let me know.

Alright so far we have like one person out of all you fools haha fourty, Steve shouldn't mind checking your car if I can get him to come anytime soon.

Jason,
Sorry I haven't gotten to you I've been a little busy lately, doing little side jobs, working and starting a mini shop.

Unless I'm mistaken I believe his rates are $350 per tune + dyno fees.

Scrub. Rich will tell you, I will need a solid tune in about 1 month (end of August) once I break in my new motor. Give me that much time and I am a DEFINITE. In fact, I beg that you get this happening. I will pay immediately so long as you get me one of the first few on the dyno ( I'll really need this done and can't get bumped out!). It'll be a full, fresh tune for maximum power on the turbo and engine.

So count me as a definite towards your list.

Hi, There were six guys who wanted to tune in queens, new york who didn't get it together yet. Maybe some of them would be interested in Delaware or some of you could be tuned at T&R in Queens to get enough cars for Steve. Randall

how about everyone stops with their $0.02 and calls Steve for their own tune day if they want it elsewhere.

You're talking 1hr drive from Jersey to CarVersion2's place. Maybe 2.5 from NYC to there.

I just drove from northern Baltimore to Clifton, NJ (near the GW almost) in about 3hrs on 4th of July holiday weekend!!!

As Bob said, it's not very far from NY to DE or even from Jersey... Maybe 2.5 hours max. Last tuning session we had a guy drive all the way from MA for a tune. If I can get a solid 5 people to put down a $100 deposit I can get him out here whenever. I'd say probably the last week of August or the first week of September.

That sounds great Dan. If you want me to start the $100 deposit let me know and I will PayPal. I'd imagine if it falls through you'll refund from the PayPal account.

i would completely agree with you if the place, date and time was set in stone and ppl started making suggestions as to why it shoulda been somewhere else, but its not, so...

Alright two options, 1st weekend in sept. or last weekend in Aug. Either one should work for me....Just gotta get the date set. If anyone would like to send a paypal deposit you will need to include the additional 3 percent or whatever it is. my paypal is eplondon3@netscape.net

Dyno pricing will be around $120 or so per hour which will be paid the day of tuning. I will get exact pricing in the next few days. So the final cost will be around $470 with dyno time.

-Dan

So far I have three definate people who want tuning. I will start an official thread once I can generate a few more people interested.

xtrlooney,
Depending on how many people we get, it will be on saturday. Steve can tune five to six cars per day usually. CarV2 is usually closed on sunday, but they may open up for us if we have more then 6 or so cars that need dyno tuning. Street tuning is available, but dyno tuning is safer, easier and more accurate then your rump!

Bob, I recieved your deposit.
Just so everyone knows all deposits will be refunded if for whatever reason this session does not take place.

Sept 2nd, CarVersion2 in DE is my vote. Am I first in line? Anyone who hasn't been to the facility, rest assured it is a great place and a solid choice.
