I wonder how Brooklyn Gets a BAD Reputation
Violent Night in Brooklyn
NEW YORK (1010 WINS) -- Two men were killed — one by a pair of bicycle-riding gunmen — and four others were wounded during several shootings in Brooklyn, police said Saturday.
On a balmy Friday evening, youths in Brooklyn's Flatbush neighborhood were out in the streets when a 19-year-old was shot at about 10 p.m., police said. The fatal gunfire came from one of two men riding by on bicycles at Sterling Place and Nostrand Avenue.
The 19-year-old victim, whose name police did not immediately release, was taken to Kings County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. No arrests were made.
A half hour earlier, four other teenagers were shot in a nearby Brooklyn neighborhood, Canarsie.
A 17-year-old youth was shot in the leg and an 18-year-old in the stomach on East 105th Street, police said. Both were taken to Brookdale Hospital, where they were reported in stable condition.
Five blocks over on East 100th Street, gunshots hit a 19-year-old in the ankle and a 16-year-old in the arm, police said. Both were taken to Kings County Hospital, where they were reported in stable condition. No arrests were made in the shootings.
Earlier Friday, at about 7:30 p.m., a 27-year-old man was shot while arguing with a group of other men, police said. One man pulled out a gun and shot the man in the chest and head. He was taken to Brookdale Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The suspect fled on foot, police said.
Police identified the victim as Jamal Ford, of Brooklyn.

Yea brooklyn sucks. Im very close to 105th I wonder what the cross street are but chances are its close by. Ive had gunfire erupt directly infront of my house with my younger sister sitting on the steps. Its bad. Kids these days are pussies, they either fight in groups or with guns. I mean atleast a knife is kinda respectable, you need to get close but a gun is just some punk *** ****.
My block is pretty hot for many reasons, large parties, lost of stolen cars, and gang activity. Just the other night there was an attempted driveby around 10pm, it was supposed to be retaliation for a beating but there were alot of people outside and they couldnt distinguish the marks. The only reason we even knew what could have happened is because the would be victim spotted the car and hid and a girl out there saw the gun when they passed. 2+2
man i need to move to long Island.

Our government loves that **** they get to put it in as expenses & if theres no crime theres no need for more cops & fed aide so they keep the guns in the street sad ****. If they really didnt want guns out in the streets there wouldnt be so many !! When Guliani was around we would get searched just hangin out or just walking out of my boys house in a group i hated it but a few cops use to tell us hey it keeps everybody safe from guns when we do this but now Bloomberg Mr Money forgot about quality of life issues
