Anybody knows where I can find parts for our alternators\starters? Mazda wants an arm and a leg for them and the local auto electric shops won't sell them to me; they want to do the job themselves. <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o:p></o:p>

 

may i ask why? considering a brand new alternator from autoparts store is just 80 dollars. Not to mention its a pain in the *** fixing alternators. But if its a fc alternator your looking for, i have a good working (20k miles on it) i can let go for 10 bucks plus shipping. only problem is you would have to change the internal cooling fins, considering i bent them trying to get the stupid nut in the middle off.
