Yeah they are really neat and interesting cars. I just looked up production totals:
67 Mazda Cosmo Sport 110S L10A 2-rotor, 343 units.
68-72 Mazda Cosmo Sport 110S L10B 2-rotor, 1176 units.
Out of those only 10 made it to the US. One of those 10 was on ebay a while back. It blonged to Hughes Aviation or something like that.
Here is a good web page about them:

Where the hell was everyone tonight? Matt, Dan, and I showed up. I had the GSL, Matt had the vert, and Dan had an 04 RX-8.
Dan offered his parking lot for a meetup place and is offering a 10% discount to all rotary owners. His buisness is Awful Arthurs. I'm sure most have heard of it.

Sorry everyone I have been out of town, unexpectedly for a few days. I just got back. I was in Indianapolis, and didn't have time to get over to watch even a pratice session of the USGP. I guess that turned out to be a blessing in disguise. I missed our event, the MazdaDrivers event at VIR, and the autocross at ACU-4.... But I am home now, still have a front cover in my car for renegade....
What else is going on?
Anyone need a stock steeringwheel?

I'm on a tight budget now. I just ordered a clutch from racing beat. If I get a new steering wheel, it'll be a Momo.
Also am seriously considering on buying some mazdaspeed seats.

I might be selling my gold 97 saturn SL2 1.9L DOHC also. i cant wait to get back to the west coast.

Well, Welcome to the club. That was easy, wasn't it?
As for the roughness, Do a complete tune up (plugs and wires), oil change, fuel filter and see how it runs then.

Yeah, welcome to the club. Do you have any questions as to how and when to get together with us? Our get togethers have been a little weak in attendance lately, but I intend to fix that ASAP. I have just been too busy to do anything. I hope to spend some time early next week planning and putting up some schedules. I am going to plan our next event on the meetup site:
http://rx7.meetup.com/55/
The event should be listed there very soon. There is also an RX8 club meet that we should go by and see. I will put info there about that event too... The RX8 event is this saturday. I will also send out emails to help get the word out.
Oh and places to get it worked on... Look up Dave Bunting in the phone book and give him a call. He is a good guy and knows these cars. He will have great recommendations.

Hey fellas!!! Thanks for the postings. We are all set for the HRMRCC Saturday, July 16, 2005 - 4:00 PM Meet at AA's.
I have also posted the meet date on our site as well as posted a link to the 7 Meetup site.
Not sure on how many 8's will be here at our 1st HR8C Saturday, June 25, 2005 - 6:00 PM Meet, as a few had other plans, but any 7's that want to come and hang are welcome.

Hey guys, just got back from Toronto. It's fun to drive down the highway, look at your speedometer and see the needle at 120!!! Even if it's kilometers/hour. Took me a second after I got the rental car to realize that the MPH were the small numbers :-). Bigsnacks, I think I have some used tranny mounts if you need some, but you might want to check out banziaracing's website, I just got some polyurethane tranny mounts from them.
