If any 1st gen guys want to switch to the 2GCDFIS I've got a hookup for some boards being made to wire up your J-109's to fire the stock 2nd gen coil from the 2nd gen ignitor. Granted it's not as pretty as a printed circuit board, but it does the trick. I've been told this thing fires a bad *** purple spark. I think cost is around 10-15 bucks, but you supply your own coil and ignitor. I got one of eBay for 30 bucks. Not a bad deal I say. -SE guys might be a bit different. I think you run off a CAS, right?

hey guys, I'm never around here, but I'm out of school, and I got back to workin on my car (12a turbo). ANyways, my timing and **** is dead on now, which was a previous problem, but now I'm having serious carb troubles... So my question is, anyone around that has a decent weber 45 or 48 dcoe theyre trying to sell? Mine has had a rough life, and I'm looking for a fresh start. It's almost as if the main circuit on the carb has something wrong with it, as soon as I open the throttle, the car goes extremely lean. This is under any situation, even if the car is in neutral and I'm just revving it. So if anyone has a nice sidedraft for sale, drop me a line.

Yea, mine whines too. I think I'm going to have to switch to a TII tranny with the power I'm making. And a stronger clutch. This is the 2nd one in 6 months and it slips like hell when you want to launch.

We had about 7 people there if I counted right. It was a pretty good time, even if I got stuck in a very crappy kart on my last run.... It was a fun time.

Hey guys, sorry I missed the meet at Hooters. I spent the whole day painting a "Blue's Clues" room for my son and was wiped out by the end of the day. No new progress on the car (TII swap), been too busy with work and the fam, but I've just restarted getting parts together for it. I just got back from VaGambler's house. He's got an awesome setup garagewise. Tons of room and a huge buttload of parts. BTW, it looks like I'm going to part out my old NA engine. Let me know if any of you need S5 NA engine parts. The engine only has 63k on it but the rear rotor has NO compression......

Snowmobile clutch or something like it....Or a custom made go-kart clutch.
