Sorry everyone... I am convinced that if I plan any sort of car event... someone in my family will get sick.... Wife ended up sick saturday and I would have felt guilty leaving her... I planned to go up until about an hour before....

Tuesday is fine for the front cover. I will be around tuesday night. PM me and I will send you contact info. We can work something out. I want to make sure I have the right things you will need. I am not overly sure of the second gen front cover configuration, so you may need a couple of other things. I should have everything you need though. I just want to make sure you get it all.

Well, racing was fun, sorry I couldn't make the meet. I did however get to see a Ford GT (which was broken LOL), 2 2003 Ferrari 360 Spyders, a Maserati, and 2 13B powered Mazda race cars (the Indy looking ones, but much smaller). It was fun, driving to Chicago SUCKS damn 15 hour drive. Came back and now I need a brake master cylinder and both the master and slave for the clutch. Anyone ever tried to drive a car at 4PM from the shipyard to churchland blvd without any hydraulics whatsoever? Don't do it. it sucks sucks sucks.

Found some cheap (pricewise) performance tires:

www.aimtire.com

Toyo, Hoosier, Hankook, etc.

I checked them out. Seems like they have some reasonable prices. Do they support your racing series?

No, I just found out about it from a racer I met in Joliet, IL. He said he usually used the RA1s, but wanted to try the Nittos. He gave me the address and I just looked them up online. I think I'll be buying a set of 205/60/13 very soon.

Update on the Sterling: Dennis wrote me and asked if I needed a choke. I'm thinking that it's nearing completion. WOOT WOOT.

Bryan

EDIT: We're sponsored by Nitto tires.

Cool... I dunno what I want for the front cover, but it will be fair, I'll work with you if you have stuff to trade. You need the cover, the OMP and the oil lines? is that correct?

I am going to schedule us a night at AIK over the next couple of weeks. Probably doa weeknight, as the crowds tend to be less. Anyone have a weeknight that does not work out, or as a whole would you rather do it on a Saturday night?
