There isn't necessarily a "supposed" to be location. Autocrossers always turn them all the way in and back. That gives you as much positive caster and negative camber as the stock parts will allow, which are both most desirable for an autocrosser/track person. Whenever you change it though you will need to re-set the toe. That is probably your problem. Setting the toe on these things is fairly easy. I bought some new things to help with that this past weekend. If the inside is wearing you probably have too much toe out. I can help you sometime set it if you don't want to take it to an alignment shop. There are a hundred ways to set the toe yourself if you want to do it.

I figured the align was out. But I also noticed today that the wheel has quite a bit of play in it. I'll be checking that out as soon as a friend brings a floor jack home. I'm not sure if it's wheel bearings or a ball joint just yet. The tire was fine until this little thing decided to show itself. But I will get it aligned when I'm done fixing it and I change the tires. Speaking of which, does Toyo make RA-1's in a 13" size?

Yeah, Toyo makes a 186/60 and a 206/60 ini 13". I seem to recall they were sort of on the pricey side, but .... well I just looked them up:

I am sure there are outer sources, but that is the first one I stumbled across. Too bad the Falken Azenias are not made in your size. They are great tires at just a steal of a price, but interestingly enough I have need for tires in 3 different sizes.... all o3 of those sizes are the ones the Azenias have been discontinued in.... go figure.

Appreciate the looking Calvin. I just took mine apart today, and I did remember to put the washer in. Upon further inspection, I found that the lower control arm bushing is dead, hence the horrible tire wear, and feel of the tire moving around on left handers. Off to mazdatrix to order some urethanes.

I don't get tires around here... I get them from tirerack.com or vulcantire.com or 1010tires.com or something. There are local places... Most of them ricer type places. You should go to an SCCA national something where the tire dealers show up. They are available there.

Sunday May 1st (this sunday) at Pungo... Look for directions to Pungo Pizza and Ice Cream to find the place. It is right next to that place. Get there about 9AM... There are two in Richmond on 5/8 and then back at ACU4 on 5/15 (don't miss that one).

ACU4 is the best autox track I've ever been to. Wide open, big tracks, and very nice pavement.
BTW, I got my Stainless brake lines today. Motul 600 is on the way from Cobalt.
