Any recommended tools beyond a engine puller, jack stands and basic hand tools.......
The Video I mentioned before also shows them removing the engine from the car. You should get that video.

The cranes are only a couple hundred from places like Harbor Freight or Norther Hydraulics or even Autozone. If oyu buy one, you have to store it. They take up a good deal of room in a garage. Getting one that folds and stores conveniently is important to me if I were to buy one.
But if you rent one, you don't have to worry about storing it. Buy one if you plan to pull engines with some regularity, but the rental cost is typically failrly low to rent on the day you actually pull the engine and another rental on the day you set it back in the car and you don't have to worry about storing it.

If you are looking for an engine lift keep your eyes on places like Sam's club and Costco. I remember a few years ago we bought one real cheap from Sam's club. Heavy duty, etc.......It sounds like you have enough invested already that another 100 bucks or so shoudln't hurt you.........

I used a silver sharpie to mark everything I took apart as to where it went back. Most of the rubber hoses will need to be replaced. Most of the rubber vac hoses can be replaced with 3mm silicone hose, but do that as you are putting it back together.

Talking off the cuff: I don't know anything about the cosmos engines, are they made of the same components as the 13B's? Could I get a 3 rotor crankshaft, an extra rotor and housing and build a 3 rotor engine out of a 13B? I think THAT would be an interesting project. Has anyone here seen that BLINGIN' engine on the forums, that was made in Sweden?
