Yeah, Jimdog, they are GSLSE bolt pattern. They are not anything similiar to any year of Mustang (If anyone knows that on this list, I do). They don't have any stampings on the inside, but do have a few castings in the back of the spokes, but they only say the size (16 X 7 JJ) and tha max load capacity of 1400lbs I think. Nothing that indicates a manufacturer or anything. I have them on the car now, so I don't have to deal with my tiny little small rims and tires anymore. The car drive so much better with these, it feels like a sportscar again (Thank god!!)

My car had been starting poorly lately, and I replaced the spark plugs. The center electrode on the #2 leading plug was actually broken. It looked like it had been broken in shipping or something and was finally becomming disloged . It was still there but was loose. New plugs and the car starts better now.

I will be down for AIK in about a week or so after my ribs heal from my last trip there. I plan to only run with sensible people, not a$$holes off the street anymore.

Biscuit, where did you see the car with those wheels? I am interested in finding out the manufacturer to get some center caps. Phooka tells me I need center caps on the wheels. I dunno why, it just makes it slower changing tires at an autocross. I also looked throught he entire current American Racing line of rims and they don't make these wheels.

I plan to be there. I might be going to the autocross earlier that day, but at the most I might be a little late getting there. Anyone going to the autocross that wants to caravan from Pungo to Randy's?

It looks like the pre-reg for the autocross is closed. How often do they have slots open for sign-up the day of?

Also, is there a decent place to take a set of wheels/tires to be balanced around here?

I took my rims/tires to BJ's Wholesale (no jokes needed). Guys at the tire center there work with me and do things like I ask them.

There should be available entries at the autocross the day of the event, but get there early to be sure. They do typically have a pretty large number of no-shows at their events.

I would love to be at some of these get-togethers, unfortunately my 1 month owned Fd hasnt ran for 3 1/2 weeks. Does anyone in this area have some stock turbos laying around they need to sell and perhaps make some money putting them on while i watch/help, hand out tools, and learn? But , if not i will be at the meets as soon as i get some and its running again. Damn, im madder than a legless ethiopian watchin a donut roll down a hill! Git-R-Done!

Just because the car doesn't run, doesn't mean you can't come.

Yeah, it is, but I laughed.....

BTW one of our get togethers is the place to find someone to help get your car working, or find someone who knows where parts might be. Ride over with someone else, or jsut bring you boinger.

that'd be sweet. i have been real patient. i know he's good for it, and i really haven't been pressed for it anyway. but now i'm all moved into BFE i'm close to being ready to get back to work on the 7. I'm anxious to get it into shape.
