Well, i'm, in the Western Branch area of Chesapeake. Nothin' much going on around here. Heh, maybe thats why I never see many rexes. I'd like to get together with some of you guys, ecspecially over the summer. And if I get enough for graduation, I might need some help putting in a streetported motor !

Hey Everybody, I figure it's about time I crawled out from under the rock I've been sleeping under the last few months. I know a couple of you guys already, and for those that I don't, hello.
I haven't been on the board in several months, it seems that I've been missing out a little. I'm game for a meeting on Sunday, as long as it's later in the day/evening(mothers and grandmothers come first). Anyway, it's sunny and warm out, my top is down, and the road calls.
Later,
Jay B.

Says it would be between 1400-1600$, and thats a few hundred cheaper than mazdatrix or pineapple. And my current engine doesnt smoke and runs fine. Then I can get a new carb setup, then on to a turbo blowthrough... heh, well, someday....

When I get home(an hour or so) I'll post his email address and phone number. Don't know too much about him, he said he builds mostly 3rd gen 13b's these days. I actually found out about him searching around the board, found it in a really old post about engine builders.

Email the guy at csrncdt@***.net. He seems really nice, and he said it would take him 2 weeks to build a motor. Not a bad turnaround, and the price is right.

if he drives a black first gen and has a red fd "that puts out 440hp" hes the guy that built my street port engine he'll do a real good job but he's going to take his sweet *** time building it, took a month to do mine and he told me 2 weeks tops. i even stripped it down to the block for him. he also kept my core motor, I gave him 2 blocks cuz mine had fucked up housings so i bought a core motor with good housings and he kept that one. but my motor has some amazing power so i wont complain to much

If anyone here wants a BAD *** motor THIS WEEK... eMail me!
There is a BAD *** engine builder in town building something like 5-10 engines or so for two weeks. I've spent all my days watching and helping out, as he's building my buddy's and fellow board member (JerryRX7... who will soon post pics) an SP 13B engine with a mean lope for his mint Yellow SAc22 and many others.
Anyway a little about this bad *** builder. His name is Jose (can't remember his last name right now) and he races a get this.... 8 second Rotary Datsun which couldn't handle the torque so he is now prepping his '89 GTU instead, right here in town.
Since the last Thusday I've helped him build something like 3 or 4 engines, not counting his own 8 second engine last night (busted water seal) in a matter of hours. Ya' should see his tubbed-out GTU with massive slick tires (Norfolk)... unbelievable.
So if anyone on this board is serious about getting an engine with any port you choose... this week, email me at: Ratedx_7@Yahoo.com, or better yet call me at 757-286-5707.
I don't know how much longer he'll be in town as he's getting ready to race in a week or so, plus he's opening up a race shop in Puerto Rico soon and is currently building Engines all up the Eastern coast for his startup capital. So if anyone wants a BAD *** engine in a day or two CALL ME NOW!!!!
BTW... his price is $1500 with any port you want and a 1-2 day turn around!!!!!

Anyway once he told me who built the engine (I'd already met Chris) I called up Chris and he vouched for the guy, so I went ahead and bought the car sight unseen... and haven't regretted it since.

It's really good to hear that yall have heard about "chris". Hmm, he told me two weeks for the turnaround too, it would kinda suck if it took a month... anyone know where I can get a cheap 12a core in good condition? I don't really want to have my car out of commision too long, considering this will be my last summer before college. Another thing, my engine has 160k miles on it (assuming its the original engine, I really don't know), yet it hardly smokes at all, except on startup, and it runs fine, can I assume my engine is rebuildable?
