those than didn't get the meetup email
Hey Folks,
Sumospeed is planning a huge meet down at the VA Beach convention center Saturday May 15th 2010. I am going to be entering one of my cars for sure. It would be great to get all the rx7/rotary car owners out there to represent the triangle power. Parking is free outside the center. Its $15 to get in the day of the show and $10 if you preorder (look at the vadriven thread below for more info).
Hopefully this will give everyone plenty of time to get their cars running and in show worthy form.
Below are some links with more info. If you want to pre-register your car for the event check the vadriven thread below.

I have a few parts off my recently totalled 93 R1 I would like to get rid of locally. I leave for California in 5 days, and really don't need to be taking them with me.
Both stock cats
rx7 store midpipe
PFC and Controller
Greddy turbo timer
Autometer Wideband
Red spoiler
No big deal if i can't get rid of them, but would like to help out you guys around this area. I am out of Newport News/Norfolk area. PM if interested, I have pictures. Thanks

Added a can of Seafoam to a quarter tank of gas. Rev'ed the car up to 6k RPM for extended times. So far so good. Car starts up at 5, 10, 30 minutes after shutdown at 70 to 90 degrees Celsius. Guess it didn't help that there was a couple of gallons left in the tank from before I left for Afghanistan.... Maybe there was some carbon buildup. I'm sure being away for six months last year didn't help either. I'll take her out later and rip some tread.
cbgosu, there's no real shop that I know of in the area. Most of us just work on our cars ourselves. But there are folks like Chris Rogers, Kenny, Jerry, and Rich that do ALOT of work on 7's.
