To anyone needing methanol, I can get it for you ~7/gal. I might be able to get it cheaper if the demand is high enough to buy 55gal drums. 99.9% pure

Rich: no rich not the jewlers screwdriver lol i have one of those. what i was trying to say was do you have a scope to see the signal on your labtop andbe able to see the cas signal at the megasquirt in real time? cause i tried to do this at my school and i was having so much issue with noise. all around and i did read up on that the single VR is more prone to noise no matter what you do as far as clean grounds . so im going to just rebuild my megasquirt to have duel VR pickups on the board and go from there.
I have a oscilloscope for that.

A friend has a 88 RX7 Convertible for sale here
locally in Southeastern VA. It is a very nice looking car that is good and
solid. It is red, the paint is pretty good. It has the BBS wheels, the big 4
piston caliper brakes, 5 speed. Black interior, headrest speakers (not sure
if they work or not). The stereo opening needs to be replaced and a few
small things like that. It is a very nice convertible and she wants $1200
for it. I think it has about 170K miles, new brakes, new clutch/pressure
plate, etc and is just pretty well maintained. With very little this can be
a excelent car. If I was not in a financial pinch at the moment nobody else
would have a chance at this car. If you are at all interested let me know
and I can send a few pictures. This will be a bargain for someone, and she
might even be a little negotiable on it, I think she is financially motivated.

Speaking of for sale...

I really hate to do this, but I can no longer justify hanging onto my REPU until I have the time to work on it. Anyone else who would be willing taking loving care of it, please e-mail me. I'm not posting this in the for sale section because I'd rather it go to a good local home. Pics available at http://www.turboren.com/for-sale/repu/

$1900 obo. Doesn't run, but it is complete with the exception of the exterior mirrors.

The REPU is the last rotary I have. Selling it will make me rotary-less for the first tie since 1996.

burning way to much gas..like 12 miles a gallon.?!

good day all miss you guys big time..don't like it in NC right now.

my se i just got (the other one got totalled) is eating a major hole in my pocket. i am getting like 9 miles a gallon seriously. it idles fine, oil pressure at like 60psi (according to the gauge in the car) then satys mid during normal driving. i believe the fuel injectors are bad, she is running rich not only can you smell it but it backfires a little not loud though. when she first starts up white smoke comes out. the pulsation damper is not in the car anymore and i don't know it that is needed. this is a list of what i think i need:

vacuum control solenoid valve (broke and sort of fixed it)
pressure regulator control solenoid valve (broke and sort of fixed it)
pulsation damper (still don't know if its needed)
fuel injectors (both)

money is really tight and i need the car to get to work 30 miles away.

This weekend at VIR was GT live I brought 3 cars and displayed 2 annaversary's in the gallery. The gallery was only for mazda, they reall went all out for us. I lost count but lots of Mazda's

Cool deal Johny. I had planned to get out there, but not much has worked out right for me lately.

Everyone, Rich has suggested this event for our meet on the 18th:

http://www.langley-speedway.com/NEWS...struction.aspx

It sounds like an enjoyable time to get together. I need some feedback I haven't really scheduled the event, but was looking for some input. I will be later in the day if I can get to this event. I am autocrossing that day at the VA State championships and will be there later in the day.

Let me know ASAP, I am either going to plan that, or maybe Jenros since the event in Portsmouth didn't exactly excite everyone.

Let me know.

3rd gen for sale

Hey guys, I haven't been active for a while but I know someone with a low mileage (~36k) for what the KBB value is for it, about $13,000. I don't know too many details about other than it is in perfect shape but a friend called to ask if I had any interest in it. Since I do not I thought I would see if anyone in the group was. If there is anyone, I can get more details and contact info.

Does anyone know how to get ahold of Chris Rogers? My engine seems to be running worse and worse lately, don't know why. Rebuild time...

Ok, so nobody said anything about this one way or another. I am autocrossing that day at the VA state championships, so I am going to re-schedule the RX7 club meet to the following weekend. The event will be at Jenro's unless this meets resistance. Sorry this is not our normal weekend.
