so i drove the red devil today to work. Had a nice gentleman hop out his car at a light to give me a card. I'm usually a DIY'er, but has anyone heard of these folks?

Just throwing the name and info out there. I know nothing of them, but know there are some folks looking for help in the area.

**and to the person searching for methanol. I've heard of some folks just running windshield washing fluid I think. Cheap, but quasi-effective. don't believe everything you read on the internet though.

I haven't been to active lately on the forums, but what year/ model do you have? What mods have been done, ECU(stock or stand alone), turbo or NA. maybe I can help.

i lost count on how many fuel filters ive done for you rx7 guys ... haha.

btw if any of you are in need of a A/C check i currecntly have a/c class at my school . so if you need me to look at your a/c if it is leaking or not running at all or want to do a convertion i can do all that cause i am now EPA certified and working on my ase in a/c . im almost finished with sean's rx7 i converted his
to r134a from r12 and wasnt to bad, he has a small problem with the compressor but nothing to bad once he gets that part that i need to install for him then he has a fully converted and working a/c system.
hes the 90 vert with the loud yellow orange paint job =)

but yeah if any of you need a your a/c looked at ill be happy to take a look at it or convert it over. i only have like 3 weeks left in the mod so its almost done.

Rich:
on your megasquirt ecu ,for the MS ver 3.0 .
do you have like a certain tool that you use to dial in the POTS on the ecu?
or do you use the megatune software and datalog your readings?

what im asking is, do you know how or with what that i can use to figure out how to clean up my dirty tach signal? i got mine at a some what readable signal but its just a little noisey on the top end of the rpm range.
any info on this would be great.

#1 rule of a/c work: never use that 'leak stop in a bottle' stuff. It will trash the whole system. I see it every day costing customers thousands when I have to replace the evaporator, dryer, orface tube, pressure switches, and sometimes even the compressor because of high line pressures. I saw they had made a giant tower of that junk right at the checkout line at autozone. One employee was even helping a customer shoot it into the system and I had to laugh as a plume of freon erupted out of the car because it had a major leak.

Rich, have you had that 3 rotored beast to the track yet?

I have an opportunity to buy a friends 94 vr touring... has really high chassis miles, 190,000+, about 30,000 on a rebuild, stock with huge catback. I was thinking more along the lines of making it a parts car for me, or possibly parting it out, maybe even throw some money at it and sell it... I'm going single on my 93 R1 in october so maybe I'll throw my barely used setup on it. Price is well below kbb, any thoughts? Do i really need two FD's?

Also, about the Kan tuning session: any dates in mind? If I'm going to get a good tune, it would be better to do so after i throw a new turbo and bigger injectors on, yeah?

Are you planning on using the same dyno as they used?

I think I met you at Jerry's a year ago or so

Thanks for setting this up looks like a few of need his skills.

He tuned my car before I highly recommend it

may take you up on that a/c thing. Just have to see when this dyno day happens. I'm t**ing to set aside about 1g for *** work right now(tires/tune/maintenance) and only have about half of that available right now. A/c is taking a back seat. glad the beater has it working great though.

Do you guys have a preferred body shop to take your car to. My t2 got smashed into while it was parked. I am thinking of taking it to Stock or Modified since my friend got his s2k fixed there and it came out really good.

pictures for those that are curious.

go with a 60-1 or 62-1 since you're doing alot of drifting, I get 16lbs of boost on my 62-1 in first gear.
