Glad you got the plugs out. Try new plugs, 9's for trailing ( T = Top = Trailing plugs ) and 7's for leading ( L = Lower = Leading ). You might also give a small squirt of ATF in the leading plug holes to help with unflooding your car.
Hey Cal, did you end up going to Bass Pro?? I was there from 5-7, but then the wife got cold....

Just a shot (spray ATF??). Like I said, some people use it some don't.
Give me a call before you stop by Ian, I think you have my number. Else if you stop by and I'm not home, I'll leave the batt in the carport. It's a black Die Hard batt.

How do you know it's not getting fuel? The way you were getting fuel out the exhaust really sounding like it was flooded.
Make sure you put the relay back in snug. If you want to test if the fuel pump is working, jump the F/P and GND terminals in the diagnostic box and listen for a buzzing sound in the trunk of the car. If you hear it, then the FP is running.

yeah turn the key to on and if you hear the pump you should be getting fuel
another way to check is to pull the hose leading up to your fuel rail and insert it into a container...turn key to on and wait a few seconds if fuel comes out you will know theres fuel getting to the injectors if this is the case then you have a flooding problem

cant hear pump with "on" cause of constant runnin fan... I jumped the gnd and f/p in the diagnostics box got no sound anywhere... tried starting with it jumped to bypass any alarm malfunction, but it made a wierd slight chirping sounding along with trying to start up. So I have a bad fuel pump. thx for the tip yuichiror about the diag box.

the pump is pulled out, Im gonna try and test it somehow. going to pep boys and see if they'll test the relay for me, if its bad ill get a new one, else ill get the pump, after i test to ensure its bad... which if it is then ill know, but ill get the relay tested anyway.

wow the 7 truly is a spiteful, jealous b*tch :P
So I take the pump out and carefully make a setup to run it off my battery... couple a sparks and the pump starts jumping and running.
sounds kinda weak but it was the gauge wire I was using, I put it back in the car just to where it would drop down, not hooking the fuel lines back up wanting to see if it runs off the car... oddly the pump is working as normal...so I was getting spark and apparently getting fuel... Well right about that time my neighbor pulls up asks if the 65 stang Im next to is mine "no mine is the one not running" pointing to the 7. I tell him whats been going on and that Im about to leave to try and desperately find some beater to put on my credit card cause I need something to get to work in on monday. He offers his second car, a kia, which I was very very appreciative of. So im back rehooking the fuel pump back into the tank and decide one last time before I take my neighbors car to go find a beater... and wouldnt you know it, she fires right up...shocking the **** out of me. All I could think of was "you jealous little bitch, I get ready to leave in another car then you fire up and run."
So im thinking maybe my fuel pump locked up on me...and I freed up whatever kept it locked by taking it out and hooking up manually. So my flooding issue turned out maybe to be vapor lock I dunno, I really shouldve known it wasnt flooding cause I had no pressure on my fuel pressure gauge the whole time, which I have now when the car energizes. At least I got my plugs changed, and my gas gauge works properly now...Im gonna change the pump here probly in the next couple days, hopefully on my terms and not hers. case closed.
Thanx for all the inputs guys, I look forward to meeting up with you all soon.

That's cool with me.
My dad got my bumper on while I was at work today. We started it just a few mins ago (jumped it). My hood looks a bit crooked, but other than that it looks good. I've got to save some money for an ok paint job now. Now that its street legal I may take it to Dale and see if he can do an apprasal for me.

No worries , is there anyone who is pretty good with modded FD's or FD's in general? Id like to get a good walkthrough and maybe a small tear down. Im still waiting for a list of all the mods... but I would like some familiarity with whats stock and whats not type stuff. In case I run into anymore problems...I think also on my car the fact I about 1/4 tank of gas in it probly led to the temp pump failure. I cant believe these things have 20g tanks, probly cause it burns through it so fast. cheers.
