Ok everyone, I can't make it tomorrow (9/5) but lets plan on Langley the following week (what is that 9/12?). Who's in?
Also, I am going to have a problem being at our Jenro's event on the 15th. I am running a big charity autocross that day and I am not sure I will be finished in time to make it to Jenro's. Even if I do, I will probably not have the RX7 with me. Maybe we will drag the Shelby over there on the trailer from the autocross. Anyone interested in the Charity autocross (it is expensive for 2 days, but more reasonable for only one day). It is a great event and easily the best local event all year long. If anyone is interested, I encourage you to give this one a try. It is a GREAT CHARITY that more than all of the money taken in from the event goes to the charity. If you might be interested, here is a link to the information:
http://www.autocross.us/forums/index.php?showtopic=3476
Please consider it if you have wanted to give autocrossing a try. It is free to watch the event (you have to get your name on the access list to get on the Navy base site) and there are tons of raffles, door prizes, etc some of which are pretty valuable.
Finally, this is a video from a recent autocross in Richmond that I missed but had planned on going to. Half way through the video there is a TII running. Anyone know who it is? Guess I need to make more Richmond events.

Hey just wanted to say to the two guys that ran their Sevens at Langley yesterday: I was there and planning on running too but forgot to bring a helmet so I backed out. You guys had some pretty clean rides though. I'm in for the 12th though.
Also, just a heads up if anyone is interested in an 88TII I just put mine up for sale. It never hurts to take a look!

I shipped and had shipped by Yellow freight. I had to pick it up at their loading dock but that was no big deal. I think the shipping was something like $90 to Vermont as I recall.

Shameless Joy Fund Autocross plug:
the Joy Fund charity autocross is one of the biggest fund raisers for the Christmas Joy Fund sponsored by the Virginian Pilot newspaper. It is a good charity that really does good things. To me it is sorta special in that the very first Joy Fund event was the first autocross my parents competed in (before I was old enough to drive).
This year they have tons of Sponsors and are hoping to get $10,000 to donate to the charity. Because of conflicting events and some other things, entry is not as high as it typically is this year, so I am pushing it a little. Here is a list of the door/raffle prizes that will be given out during the weekiend. FWIW spectators can be eligible for many of these. If you want to go watch an event, this is a good one. Lots of cars, people, etc. I'd love to see some more rotaries out there. Check out these prizes:
Here is the Ad that was in the newspaper

The autocross Saturday will be done in time to get over to nearby Jenro's to our meet that afternoon/evening. You will be able to show up after a day of racing. It always brings out some level of respect at the Jenro's meet.

Last one of the season:
Extreme Wednesday Season Finale
This is the big Kahuna of Wednesday Nights at Langley. All the season winners go against each other. I don't think we have any of our guys in the final this year, so look fo rus in the grand stands. The gates open at 6:00 and the racing starts at 7:00. For more information check out the web link:
http://www.langley-sp...
Tickets are only $5 and it is a great evening of racing entertainment. Look for us in a group about 5-10 rows from the bottom about 2 stairways past the starters stand. Everyone is invited, and everyone will have a good time.
When:
Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at 7:00 PM
Where:
