is haltech the only stand alone you are considering? Just curious why you dont consider power fc, or aem?

Turnout today was pretty good. Phooka didn't come so we had a cute Hooters waitress (even if she wasn't a blonde). Everyone is going to the Chimney Hill place tonite.

chimney hill was dead last night. I went to some car show that my friend called me from. I saw the nicest TURBO II FC ive ever seen in my life. it was red with the stock front lip. He had everything done to this thing the right way. Just a all around beautifull car. I guess hes the owner of Dyno Tuned. I'm still in shock about seeing this car. I'm trying to track down a passanger side seatbelt if anyone knows where i can get one?

Sorry I couldn't make it. I didn't have to work, but I did have to go down to SC for a day. I left Friday at 5 pm, got back Sunday morning at 3 am.7-hour one-way trip. Yeah, that sucked. Damn AC went out at my house, and the tennants were trying to tell me that the whole unit needed to be replaced. Turns out it's a $140 part that needs replacement in actuality. People....

If there's a meet in June, I won't likely make that, as I'll be out to sea for most of the month. I'll be back in July, though, and going on the OBX cruise, as mentioned earlier (check the SE forum for more info ).

Give me some idea of when you want to do it again. I'd be up for it. I ahve some very busy weekends the next month or so. Given that, I can't really make a weekend event like the last one. But I can work in a weeknight probably. Everyone suggest a day and time.

I am all for that. I will probably be at the event at Fentress this comming Sunday (May 16th). It is on the Navy base so you have to get on the access list if you want to go. You have to be on the list by Wednesday. Go here for info, or to get your name on the list http://www.tidewatersportscarclub.com/

I'll be at the autocross on Sunday. I am signed up in the first heat.

I really enjoyed the meet last Saturday and hope to do it again soon.

BTW--has anyone been out to You Wrench It lately? Was wondering if that 2nd gen still had the phone dial wheels on it. I might run up after the autocross to pick them up. I am looking to invest in some new tires for stock wheels to use in auto-x and track events. Edge Racing has Falken Azenis in 195/60/14's for $42 a piece. I just don't want to use them up running errands on the street. Seems that those phone dial wheels on that 7 had some tires with some tread left on them and I thought that I might get them cheap!

Hope everyone is having a great week!

I saw a previously nice 1st gen (blue-gray) that looked like it took a nose dive into the center divider down 264 this morning. Shame. :-(

Anybody here?

If I only looked

You know, I've been here for a while, and all this time I kept saying how there were no 7s in town. In the last couple of days I've seen like 3 or 4 FDs driving around, so I finally decided to get my lazy *** on the comp and see if there was a club in town. And there you are. Probably asking a dumb question, but there are 37 pages and I'm not trying to read them all, how often do you guys get together? I would definately be interested to join up and meet up with some other FD enthusiasts. Plus I'm going to have to pick some techs brain about my baby, she's misbehaving.
