I went in for a physical about 3 days after cracking the rib. The good ole hernia test went like this:

doc: cough
me: no
doc: huh?

Oh hell no , there is no way I wouldgo through that , ahahhah at least no that Im old and fat .

Nah, just go to Pep Boys or any other Auto Part Store and tell them that you want spring spacers. They'll ask you how much of a lift you need, and they'll sqaure you away.

I leraned this trick years ago when my driver side suspension would sag so much that my fenders would constantly rub my tires. Man was I relieved, after I installed them.

Good Luck.

LOL, that's assuming I have spring compressors and a clue on how to do suspension work.

Hey bud , sorry you did not ask this board earlier, but you got totaly screwed by this guy . He did not have 1000 miles on that engine but more like 50 . Randy told him not to run it , but it was Shaun's motor ( with a ton of help from everyone in our little group. He got it fired up in a drive way , drove it a few blocks , took it to the track ( Langley) and got his *** handed to him by everyone ( trucks , I think even a yugo. haha ) I posted my case to this forum a while back and was disapointed to the response . No one but me and one or 2 others called him out !!! He has just reciently told me to" get over it no one really cares ". I will leave it at this . If my fellow RX 7 members associate with this thief , you have lost all my respect . I have never done another person wrong in any way ( that I know of ) not to mention a fellow RX 7 member . I hear he has been going to Langley, but running!!!! WEAK ***!!!!!!!! I will have the last say on this one .

Sorry "Rotary Concepts 007 " screwded you too . But this fool has no clue what he is doing . Feel free to Pm me if you need any legal recourse .

Good luck

so, i was thinking "you know what would be cool, a 13bt AE86 drift car" then i was thinking " you know what would be cool, finishing my current projects" and for my final thoughts are "RX-7s are the cheapest and most costly cars i've ever owned. pay nothing for one, then do nothing but dump money into it." haha don't know why i felt the need to share that with you guys, but i think we all have mutual feelings about this subject haha

I have to be too drunk and poor for Milwaukee's Best. Rather drink Nyquil than that.

House Renovation is a pain in the ****!!

My house is getting ripped apart in the inside. I had both full baths upstairs redone, what a nightmare! Still a little more details like flooring and paint color are in the works.

My whole 1st floor is getting repainted. I had a wall knocked out also and blended the sheetrock.

New living room set and two more new bedroom sets. (My wife drives me crazy, like to change furniture out every 2 to 3 years)

Future construction:

Possible new siding or a good repaint on the exterior
New garage doors on house
New garage in the back, barn style, two story.
Concrete driveway from the back yard to tie in my current driveway.

No time to work on cars right now, too busy with the house

Hey Cal, this is the sql I've come up with so far:

select count(w.procid) as ontime , '' as overdue, '' as soon, w.prtcpname from witem w
where w.state = 'I'
and w.prtcp in (select prtcp from usrgrpprtcp where usrgrpid = '0000000463')
group by w.prtcpname
union
select '' as ontime , count(w.procid) as overdue, '' as soon, w.prtcpname from witem w
where w.state = 'V'
and w.prtcp in (select prtcp from usrgrpprtcp where usrgrpid = '0000000463')
group by w.prtcpname
union
select '' as ontime , '' as overdue, count(w.procid) as soon, w.prtcpname from witem w
where w.state = 'I'
and w.prtcp in (select prtcp from usrgrpprtcp where usrgrpid = '0000000463')
and CONVERT( float, GETDATE()) + 3 > CONVERT( float, deadlinedtime)
group by w.prtcpname

Basically I want to create four columns: ontime, overdue, soon, and prtcpname. In the table, when an item is overdue, state = 'V', when an item is current state = 'I'. Otherwise I ignore entries where state not in ('V', 'I').

With the statement above I get a resultset like this:

ontime, overdue, soon, prtcpname
2, 0, 0, jody
4, 0, 0, yo
0, 4, 0, jody
0, 1, 0, yo
0, 0, 1, jody
0, 0, 1, yo

What I'm looking for is a result set like this:

ontime, overdue, soon, prtcpname
2, 4, 1, jody
4, 1, 1, yo

I've attached a zip file that contains spreadsheets with the structure and sample data of the tables I'm working with.

Thanks for taking a look!

yuichiror, the reason you are getting more results than you want is because you have 3 different select statements providing results, each grouped by the name. If there are 2 names, you'll get 6 results.

Thanks! Like I said, I couldn't come up with a single query that would give me the resultset I wanted based on the 3 different conditions. Thanks again!

I got busy yesterday, so I'll see what I can do today. Is this a stored procedure? If so, we can build variables and populate them with the data, and finish by just displaying what you want. The problem with that is you need to deal with a recordset coming out.

It would help to know what is executing the query, and what the database type is - Access, SQL, Oracle, DB4?

Is this going to be built into an application or for information only? If being built in, I'd create a stored procedure that does this. If information only, I can make a SQL Query analyzer give the result you want.

My fiancee and I do this crap for a living

Thanks dude! I'm writing this to create a report in MS SQL Reporting. I'd prefer a flat statement over a stored proc, but as long as I get the resultset I want, I guess it doesn't really matter. Right now I using it against a MS SQL server, but if there's any MSSQL specific code, I'll have to adjust it for Oracle later.
