Did any of you FC guys go to the drift event at Pungo yesterday, or are going today? I came down from Richmond for it yesterday and there were about 4 or 5 other FCs that were there too.

well i cant get a response on the FC fitment thread and im lookin to order some wheels soon so i was wondering if anyone can help me out?
looking to get F 17x8 +35 225/40/17 and R 17x9 +35 245/40/17 on my S5 GXL. would this be a good set up as far as overall diameter, clearance and being somewhat flush with the fenders??
thanks everyone

Haven't really looked, but is there any event scheduled for this area on 07/07/07? The SE region is trying to get something together, but it may fizzle out because no one seems to be willing to take charge and coordinate.

Wheel fitment: http://fc3spro.com/TECH/MODS/RT/rims.htm
Tire fitment:

From my perspective, 17x 8 in the front with a +25 offset will be flush, either get them in that offset or grab spacers to go along with the pair. I'm rocking 1" / 25mm spacers on my stock wheels, and they're flush.
17 x 9 in the rear with a 10mm (or 20mm!?) is straight flush, but a 17 x 9 + 35 that you are interested in will be battle-shipped inwards about an inch give or take.
Tires, I'm not sure enough to say much. If you're slamming it, get some tires to stretch a little bit.
Thats the setup I want. Argh, I want it.
and just fyi, send ReTed a pm, he'll let you know whatever you need to.

Anyone have an 84-85 rear differential? Unless Respeed decided to go ahead and make rear axles for the small bearing axles then i will need one from an 84 or an 85

So I'm driving to pick up the babysitter this afternoon. I had to drive the FD cause the Outback is down, and plus, the babysitter likes the FD. On the way, I pass by a white MKIV Supra in a turning lane. He pulled out of his turning lane and we did a bit of "driving", and pulled into a parking lot. Nice car! I'd like one someday.
So after picking up the sitter, I saw a white S5 just sittin' in someone's backyard. On the corner of Andover and Whealton. The car looked great on the outside, cept for a flat tire. Anyone know the owner? There was a red Mustang in their driveway.

Circuit City Layed off/fired over 3500 people
On wednesday Circuit City Layed off/fired over 3500 people as part of what it calls Wage Managment Iniciative.
I was one of the people that got fired, 8 from my store and 3 from my department. I worked in the Car stereo department for 7 years and have MECP and ASE certifications. I was a technician and not a sales person. I would install alarms, remote starters, keyless entry, GPS systems, stereos and mobile video systems. They fired half of the department because as technicians we were naturally paid higher wages that the sales people. The department is now using a person with no experience who they pulled from the warehouse to install stereos because they don’t have enough people to man the shop. I know that all of the technicians that worked on cars and computers took the brunt of the firings since most of us were above the pay cap that Circuit City used to decide whom they would fire. As such most of the people left working those departments are now people with little or no experience and as a customer I would not what a new low paid technician (not) learning how to install with my car or computer. If anyone had planned to go to Circuit City to work some work done I highly suggest that a different place to install your equipment, unless you think it would a nice change of pace to have a warehouse worker install your alarm or fix the glitch on your computer.

Also,
since I am now unemployed I need to start doing side jobs to bring in some money. If any one out there needs to have an alarm, keyless entry or remote start installed or there RX-7 or other cars I'm available and I will install remote starters on 5-speed/manual transmission RX-7s and hook up a neutral safety switch to prevent it from start while in gear.
