haha hey my SA is manual, its a bit tiring though after driving it in smithfield for a few hours, but its still fun.

as for the meet guys, i might not make it this week, i have to go to richmond and pick up an Apexi N1 exhaust. i'm pretty sure i will be back by the time the meet starts, and i think i finally talked my girlfriend into coming to a meet haha.

and the other meet sounds cool calvin. i'd go as long as i can get in. and i too like the idea of the joint rotary and rx8 club meet up

I will find out the age restrictions. We might not want to do it on a Saturday night just because of crowds.... that area gets pretty packed at that time. I will give her a call and talk to her. I do know nearby parking garages and things like that but we have to be careful of special events happening in Downton Norfolk. Like last time we tried to go to Jillians as there was a big wine tasting party at the park and there was no parking anywhere nearby.

monty, I have to change my clutch and power steering pump. Going to Oceana hobby shop on the weekend to do the clutch and then next week I will do the power steering pump. I just cant get to the pick and pull until the weekend to check the car out, I have to work until four or five so its about the time they close, plus I am going to check flea bay to see if any pop up. Yes power steering is for wimps, but what if your just lazy and enjoy it!

i work at little creek .i dont know where the hobby shop is on that base but i know how to get to that base. its about a 30 mins drive . im not sure what my plans are for this weekend just yeat. i think next weekend would work best for me. pm me your contact nimber if you want to set something up for the clutch ive had to replace mine before its not a hard job at all..

Nobody said a word to me about changing the time. So, that is the info. What I would suggest that everyone discuss time here. I am not going to "officially" change the time. AIK changes to the super track at 7:00. We usually get there about 6:00 and spend at least an hour out BS ing around the cars. So we always run Supertrack. Then we usually leave AIK about 9-10:00 and go over to EastSide Pizza and eat and drink. So if you are going to be late, check to see if you see our cars at AIK and if not, then go over to EastSide Pizza

i just dont have the time anymore for meets.... with school and work its impossable for me to make any meets. and the weather isnt helping also.... both my cars are down stang is getting new rear gears put in, and i need to finish paying for the work. and the rx7 is in parts again...for the megasquirt install. im redoing the engine harness just so i have the megasquirt as its new ecu . no piggy back mess like i had planned from the start . i figured that i dont need or have the use of a stock ecu so not going to bother with it anymore.

has anyone heard from peter florance? ive tried calling his cell and im not getting anything ? is he out of town or something ?? anyone know?

I don't know when Peter is around. I know that he and his wife took a recent trip to South America (I think). The pilot of the commercial airliner on the way down had a heart attack or something while they were in the air and it had to make an emergency landing somewhere. He said it was all rather exciting for a short period of time.

Hey guys , Im having a problem with a fellow member that I feel needs to be addressed. Some time this past fall I purchased a car from a guy( Matt Berry) who lived in Williamsburg , it was agreed to that I give him $ 800.00 up front and the balance when I picked up the car . The guy told me not to worry about picking it up right away , that it was in no way a bother to leave it where it sat ( on a trailer with a car cover covering it . I told him I was hoping to finish a convertible project I was working on and then pick it up .He stated that would be fine , I gave him my phone # and the deal was done . I also know a few of his friends , so getting a hold of me should have been no problem. Now most local 7 owners know one another and usually do anything to help other 7 owners and this has been the case with Shawn Stewart AKA- Rotaryconcepts007. I have done many things in the past 2-3 yrs to help Shawn out . I gave him a brand new set of oil seals , water jacket seals , fuel injectors and other accessories , in exchange he was suppose to help me complete my convertible project ( which is still not done ) .I lent him a $ 800.00 racing beat exhaust system which I had to pick up before he sold it . I gave him several pieces of engine parts that he powder coated over at my house at no charge , he was suppose to bring the replacement parts, but that hasn’t happened either .Other people ( who don’t wish to be named) have done tons of favors for him , in exchange he cuts their grass ,weed eats the yard , and does what ever shitty jobs need to be done . He has come over in the past and helped out with many projects as we have all done in the past over at other peoples houses , he was always welcome and this is why I was floored to hear that this “ good friend “ was really a PIECE OF **** . I found out this week that Shawn had run into Matt and told Matt that I was not interested in the car and was going to ask for a refund . This was a flat out LIE . Shawn went out of his way to hide facts to me and others friends here in our little group. After I found out about this I went over to Matt’s house to get my $ 800.00 ( which was returned )and he told me what was said and what happened . Shawn knew I had bought this car from Matt and had plans for the car . I then went to Shawn’s work place to pick up my exhaust , and asked his to come out side and explain himself . I mentioned to him how shitty this was and told him to step up and do the right thing . I asked him to give the car back to me and I would return the $ 1500.00 . He admitted that it was a crappy thing to do , but “snooze you loose” he had gotten the car running already and had already put the title in his name . I even offered him some additional money back for this , but he still would not step up and do the right thing. This PUNK *** KID will one day have to act like a MAN . There is nothing I can legally do , but I can promise you guys this is not the end of this . I also need to point out that I am missing a few parts that have never shown back up along with a few tools . I just want to point out to the rest of the members that if this “ friend “ would do this to me and lie to others . He is what he is “ A broke PIECE OF **** “ DON’T TRUST THIS GUY . He will steal and lie to you too .
