IT WAS DOING GREAT THEN...it cut off on me and the fuel pump isnt making any noise.......im afraid that one of the diodes on the megasquirt took a shat......kills so far from last night and today
ram 1500
06 civic si mild modifications me at 1/4 throttle
s-10 extreme
all of which i never went past half throttle and the ram 1500 i had an intercooler pipe pop off just after the turbo
but driving through the taco bell drive thru was too much for the fuel pump circuit i guess lol

ren or kenny
since you both went with an aftermarket ecu's .
have you heard about anything that controlls the secondaries injectors... that you have to use with a stock turbo setup or does the aftermarket ecu can get around that .i tested them to make sure that it wasnt the injectors going bad.A friend said it was a small silver box right next to the passenger headlight under the stock intake box that controlls the secondaries.
after i finish my 5 lug convertion i can deal with the motor issues again since the weather is getting warm again.i have to do this first cause nelson is moving soon i need to take care of it before he moves.

Dan's RHD RX-3 is fixed.
I finally went to Dan's house. I have been very busy lately. When am I not? Anyway, after a lot of checking. Spark, compression and all that good stuff. It turned out to be an idle jet in his Weber 48 IDA clogged. When I pulled it out, it looked like an oil drain plug full of crap that collects. Cleaned all main jets, air jets, idle holders and squirted the holes these pieces went in and VROOM!!!!!!!!!! Working like a champ.
In my opinion there is no 13B better than old school. They are more durable and can withstand a beating.
The 12A is the best engine overall.

thanks for the input guys.
ren one more question how did you setup your ignition controll is it run on a older style crank angle ? or you still using a 2nd gen one with its ecu to just run ignition ? or maybe is the ms you using running both fuel and spark?
peter is going to make me the ms1 unit. the ms will run the fuel and im thinking also the spark if it can be done.
however the timing retard on the spark on the trailing spark plugs at high rpms is new to me. but i keep reading that most guys go with running the trailing and leading together . which has its up's and down's
so good news is that the injector problem is out of the way till i get the ms1. and spark im reading more on the best way to go about it.

What can I say, I agree with ya Jerry... BTW Macco Dale got his first gen painted (wonder if he got a good deal :-) This was just an autocross car, so he didn't put much effort into it. He needs to replace the wheels though....

I am watching Gone in 60 Seconds (the original one) on Speed right now. It has a great scene where they drive into a Mazda Dealership that had lotsa new rotary sedans at the time. Kinda cool to see all those old school rotaries on the dealership lot. It was made in 1974, so I guess the cars are all 1974's.

Calvin, Should I drop your name when talking to Dale at Maaco?? I spoke to him on the phone earlier today, thinkin I will wash my car tomorrow then swing by to see Dale for an appraisal on Monday.
Aka~ will you get something out of it if I mention that you refered me, or will *I* get some kind of a hook-up? If so, I will def mention that you did the referring...
This is in regards to getting a paint job.
Thanks,
Levi
