Sup guys i am just now geting around to posting on here but i have been talking with a few plp out in the real world abot this alot. Someone told me you all are geting together on the 16th?? if so would like some more info on it. As well with that i am stumped on something that is going on with my car. I JUST got done doing a rebuild and got everything going. When i did get it started it would not hold its own ldle and we had to keep it at about 2200-2500 it keep it runing DUreing this time it sound fine to me all tho its been years from the last time i have had a RX running next to me. We ended up haveing to shut it down due to a over heat in the Y pipe yes i said the Y pipe was glowing red and we cut it off asap. Now i have worked on alot of cars in my life and seen a ton of Cat's glowing in my life but fo rthe mid pip cat's to be all gtg and the Y pipe glowing its a 1st. If anyone has any ideas on this plz let me know with a PM and or here thanks a ton guys and like i said i hope to see you all in the 16th with my RX running!.

This is where our events are currently kept up to date:
http://rx7.meetup.com/55/
That site had the tools to easily post events..... The details for the event are not final. Check there and you will know what is happening.
In the near future, this will be our only web site:
http://www.hamptonroadsrotaryclub.com
But to be honest I need to spend more time on the hampton roads rotary club site.

You need to check if your exhaust is not clogged up, you cats might be bad, plugging your engine causing it to overheat. Disconnect your exhaust. The ghetto way of fixing it is to gut/hollow out all your cats..........You are lucky it didn't catch fire.

I guess I find it really strange to me that those carbs work on a rotary. I used to have several of them, but I sold them off to guys with Morgans and TVRs.

I'd suggest at least giving Dale Blankenship a call at the Maaco on Pembroke. He owns a first gen RX7, and is an autocrosser and a friend of mine (feel free to tell him that I sent you there) for more than 25 years. Hw is a member here, but doesn't visit that often and on hamptonroadrotaryclub.com. They can do really good work there. Not exactly car show quality, but it will be fairly priced and he will give you your money's worth. I don't have the phone number, but it is on whitepages.com
