I am going to be there. I am not 100% sure I will have the RX7 or not. I may bring the Shelby instead.

FWIW, by time most of the RX7 people heard about it, the pre-registration was closed. I suspect more will be there the day of the event...

Hey Rich... you better show up..

Yes my name is on the list, not realizing that's the same day Wife and daughter get back from their 10 vacation. So I don't think I'll be able to get away.

Besides BadASSRX ain't acting right. I will try to swap out carbs tomorrow to see if I can isolate the problem.

Worked on the car today, and I think (hope) I got the bugs out of it. Just before I decided to remove the complete intake system, I pulled out the distributor, and realized the mark was off something like 180*???

I realigned it, put it back in and... SO FAR SO GOOD!

Now lets see if I can get away tomorrow, so I can show ya' a trick or two on cone knocking. You guys do know, you earn 10 points per cone right?

Autocross at ACU-4 was great!!! Lessee... I was there, Phooka was there, but hiding out from embarassment . Jimdog ran his gorgeous SE. I met Knotsonice, but only talked to him a few minutes and couldn't find him later.

I personally was in a very sour mood, so if I seemed to not be so nice and friendly, I am sorry. I promise not to be so bad next time.

Who was in the red FB?

Picture of my car from the event

I do wish my car really looked that good. There are more pictures from the event here:

None of any of the other RX7's though.

Are many people from here going to the Revolution? I'd like to, but it is not possible. But if several of you guys are going, we can do our get together the following weekend... no biggie.

Anybody going to this weekend's NOPI race at Dinwiddie?

I just came from visiting the NOPI website, and was surprised to find a Pic of rotary mechanic that does local work here in Norfolk, when ever he's in town. Anyway I recently learned that he ran a 7.9 this past weekend in Fla. :o

April 18th autocross results?

Just curious as to how long TSCC usually takes to post results for their autocrosses. I am curious as to how we did last Sunday?

I bought another 7.. an 84 which will be a donor car for the 85 to convert to a spec 7 car. So please forgive me for the V8 thing.

Btw.. wtf are we in the NE forum anyway? I live in the south.

I don't wanna know.. between the crap car I was driving - the lack of practice - and my general mood (which got worse).. I have no desire whatsoever to KNOW how i faired against anyone else.

My best guess is that it will be the worse pax ranking of my entire life.

My thoughts exactly... That's why it took me so long to find out there were people getting together in HR. I thought VA would be in the SE, so that's where I looked. Guess someone decided otherwise...
