Jon posted pictures from the rallcross/Mud Bog :-) event. The rain sort of changed how the event went.... It looked like a mess, but a fun one....

Not sure why they bothered with numbers on the sides of the cars, after one run you couldn't see them from all the mud on the sides.

I also didn't break nearly hard enough I was worried about skidding but never did. On the big track at VIR I can get the tires to rub on VERY hard tight turns but It never rubbed once the entire weekend, so I know there was a lot of speed left.

Cars were pitted against cars of the same manufacturer There was only one other mazda there I think I beat him by about 5 seconds he was running a basicly stock MX6 I think he actually got a few dry runs in though.

A win is a win, I won first place. We had the option of letting Tarzan Yamada drive our cars with us in it or out of it, needless to say I declined both.

I did however take them up on a ride in his cyber evo. If you have never seen the cyber evo, it is a fully preped right hand drive race car sporting over 700 hp.
I wish could put into words how it felt. The only thing I could compare it to would be a ride at an amusement park ther are constant G forces from the front and to the sides. It was just incredable. The evo would slide just a bit and then take off like a rocket.
thats awesome you got to ride in the cyber evo. i remember reading about it like last year in super street. i can believe that was an amazing ride. congrats on the win

That is my old house in the background of your last picture. I used to live in the house next to the lighthouse when I was about 5 years old. My dad was in the Coast Guard and stationed there. I painted the front of the house from the windows down with gray paint that was intended for the porch.... Needless to say I got in serous trouble....

I might. The LSD is really weak now and there was a loud noise coming from the rear the other day. It only did it brifelly and hasn't done it since. I'm thinking I lost some teeth off of something, but I'm no expert. I know one more hard launch and its going. Does that rearend have a LSD? And email me with some numbers so just in case I can set up a budget.

are you sure its not your clutch thats messed up and not the tranny? I had that same problem and it was my act clutch that was dead, I had to force it into 1st gear.

you can peek at the clutch through the square hole. You just have to take of 4 bolts to take the cover off and you will be able to see the assembly, you just need someone to step on the clutch to see what its doing.
