damn i was hoping langly was going on for a few more weeks. i could have run. i just order my seat today http://ltbmotorsport.stores.yahoo.net/start.html. had plans for a better MOMO seat, but the website stopped sleeing it and its $480 everywhere else. all i need now is a flywheel.
and monty sorry i didnt get backto you on myspace, but when my red car is up and running i am going to start removing the brakes and the 5 lug and all that good stuff, but right now its in the grass and its a pain in the *** to move two cars that dont start in the small amount of space beside my garage haha
hey renegade if you see that guy with the red FC with a black fender on the passenger side, tell him i have an S5 fender i can spare that will match up better than the S4 fender.

This is the track:
http://langley-speedway.com/
This is the page about what we are going to:
http://www.langley-speedway.com/extremewednesday.asp
It is very east to find from I-64, just good a maps.google.com search and get directions. We usually sit as a group about one section past the starter's flag stand. Wear a rotary hat or T-shirt and someone will get your attention if we don't know you.
Is anyone comming tonite that ordered a T-shirt and hasn't picked it up? I will have the shirts with me (assuming that I am able to get there tonite... ) Here is the spreadsheet of who ordered one:
http://numsum.com/spreadsheet/show/28443
We have some extras left. If something on there is wrong, let me know.

Good night at Langley last night. Some on my non-RX7 friends did real well. RX7 guys closed out the season though with the very last race of the season a grudge match between Rich and Kenny (I forget who won... I hate getting old).

Yeah, we had a pretty good crowd in the stands too. I think we had a crowd of about 15 of us in the grandstand cheering for Shawn, Kenny, and Rich. It was Shawn's first time and the car was not that well sorted, but he found his problem was running out of gas (pretty flames out of the exhaust). Rich had done tons of stuff to his car and it showed. He did not look fast but ended up beating people. Kenny seemed to be having an off night, but ran fine in losing efforts in the racing.
Some of you may know Dale Blankenship from the Maaco on Pembroke Ave. or elsewhere. He had not run the Langley 1 on 1's since back in the early 80's (when he won the championship). He won the A-main for the night (this was he first time since back in the 80's). But had a transmission mount fail and it slowed him enough that he lost in the season championship runs. I am pretty sure he would have won it had it not been for that. Just to give him some credit, Dale and his son have recently bought a first gen RX7 with the plans of autocrossing it.
Final 2 races were grudge matches with our guys. Shawn raced a Honda and the honda lost it and smacked the wall.. only problem was that Shawn lost it to and spun into the infield. Then Kenny raced Rich. I rememebr that it was very close, but damnit I can't remember who won..... Anyone else remember?
