I haven't seen her in a while and I think $34k is too much, but I don't know how much she put into it... You never know though, I'm sure there's someone willing to pay that amount...

I have a friend who's looking to buy a 3rd gen in the near future. Anyone know of a local seller?

He got it painted and spent a bunch on the bodywork, but the car looks pretty pristine now. I also heard of another red one for sale over in Portsmouth.

Finished the lawn, now I'm too tired to work on the 7...
Anyone know how Dwayne is doing? I heard Poquoson got hit pretty hard. What's his cell? He posted here a while back.

I haven't heard from him..... I was wondering too. A friend of ours that lives close jacked her house up a couple of feet since Isabelle, but she was OK in this one.

It's weird how the same storm affects different areas so much. Where i live got plenty of rain but there was no flooding at all. But 2 minutes down the street in rock creek my friends street was underwater.

Yeah, Carl's is the nicest looking from trackside, and it is origial 1979 paint, had the roof caved in when he got it, etc. Mine still has clearcoat long the rocker panels I think. Pete needs to find a parts car with colors to match his..... The white parts car I had was honesly an better looking body (including paint, rust, etc) than Pete's.

I do have the Mirah mode 1 kit that will be making an appearance on my car very soon.... It will start after the Mazda Drivers event. Hope to have it all on by Joy Fund, buy may not have it yet painted by then. I have been making repairs on the spoiler and the front fenders. It should look nice on the GSLSE with the 5 bolt rims and wider wheels.

This is the look I would like to achieve somewhat. I realize that I have a different body kit.... at least for now, but I just like the IMSA cars from that era.... The IMSA styling of the first gens from those years are what influenced the shape of the fenders of the FC's. Interestingly enough as the FC's were raced in IMSA in later years (with far less success) they took on a more rounded look of thier fenders... which influenced the shape of the FD.... So if you want to see the progression of the RX7, it really becomes obvious that the styling people were looking close at the cars the IMSA racers were designing. Here is a nice historical look at the IMSA racing RX7's.

One of my favorite web sites, about what was maybe my favorite forme of racing. It was a toss up between IMSA of those years and the TransAm races of maybe a few years earlier
