Good to see Monty, Brian and a few new guys at Jenros tonight. Hope you make good use of that gear oil Monty!
Anyone know a company that makes brake pads with green colored backing? I cleaned off the rear calipers and noticed that my pads had "green backs"...
BTW: >50psi of boost + lean = one monster detonation: https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...=1#post6026598

I'm in the middle of replacing my diff, but noticed that my (used) replacement front diff mount is cracked already. The one on the car was totally broken. Does anyone have a good one, or do I need to order it?
THanks

Monty,
The piece circled in green is what I need. The one pictured here has a crack in it already. If I were going to buy one new, I would get the performance (stiffer) one, which is $75 from Mazda Motorsports.

Juat thought I would share this with ya'll. I put the Rx4 in its first show yeaterday over in Newport News at the Neighborhood Dreamz carshow. I won first place out of six under-construction entires. Now mind you, most were Hondas. But I'll take the win none the less. Also, I won a NEW Flowmaster 40 series muffler. Happens to be the one I was going to get anyway. Dumb luck there. And I won several shirts, toys, and even a sheet and bedspread set. Sorry I wasn't up at Jenros, but I was tired from being in the sun all day and my bald *** head got a little red.

Blue Angels Flying at Oceana Sept 9-10
I don't know if any of y'all are going, but the RRDI group is planning on driving up to Norfolk from Raleigh for the Air Show and Blue Angels performance the weekend of September 9-10. Probably come up on the 10th since some of our guys work on Saturday. Any body for HRRC gonna be there? I've seen the Thunderbirds fly several times but haven't been able to make it to a Blue Angels performance and this is the closest they get to Raleigh this year. Maybe we could meet for lunch somewhere before heading over to the Naval Air Station, or maybe y'all could meet us somewhere outside of Norfolk and escort us into town. We're planning on leaving Raleigh around 7:30 or 8:00 am.

Thanks for the diff mount monty!
It took us 30 minutes to put her back together - drop subframe, install diff, bolt everything up, drive away. The 4.3 torsen adds a noticeable bit of wheel torque, and AWESOME drift control. I did a snap u-turn on the test drive, and was able to control the drift angle easily.
A whole bunch of us from Autocross.US are heading to Langley wednesday. Who else is heading that way?

i can try to go if my class gets out early like it did today. also guys i am officially up and running in a 7 again. i bought one of jerry's 79s, so if you see one running around (even though i probably wont drive it much) its most likely me.
and i will hopefully be running the autocross at pungo in my accord on sunday so wish me luck, my tires arent very grippy and my suspension is shot.
