Matt, Kenny, you guys get cars together for this week.....

I am 50-50 on being able to make it, but I am going to try. If I don't, I will be there the following Wednesday with a good possibility that I will be running.
They calvin
Im still not going to make it this week , way to hot for me and I am playing soft ball in our tournament on Thursday .
I was able to get the engine and tranny in last night , and have finished tightniing everything up / installing the driveshaft and getting ready to hook up the harness today . I cant wait to fire this thing up . I'm thinking its going to need some tuning due to it being ported this time , we will have to see . but hopefully running in the next week or 2 depending on that tournament .

Well, that is good for me actually. If we plan a "club night" in say 2 weeks, will that work for everyone? That would be August 16th? How is that night for everyone? Rich, are you back in town?

Things have come up and I can't go tomorrow anyway now.

Ok, here ya go:

Extreme Sports Wednesday at Langley Speedway

Some of our club members shoud be at the event this night racing. So we should all make an effort to go cheer them on. The racing starts at 7:00, the gates open at 5:30. It costs $8 to watch from the grandstands. If you are interested in racing your car the ehtry fee is $15. You can bring a small cooler, but no glass bottles. We usually get a pretty good group watching.

When:
Wednesday, August 16, 2006 at 7:00 PM
Where:
Langley Speedway
3165 N Armistead Ave
Hampton, VA 23666
(757) 865-1100
Event fee:
$8.00 per person
Notes:
Looks like Kenny, Matt, Jake, and maybe ???? will be racing. I might give up, change the tires and go have fun...

It is worth it to send off your injectors for cleaning and testing jsut to make sure, but I would bet that your problem is either wiring or a sensor causing it to go into "choke" mode.

BTW, this is a relatively new guy in the club (you might have met him at Awful's if you were there. He has a nice red FD). He has some Fd questions....

Dude, when are we going to fix your car? I have probably done eight or so from scratch.

I just order a couple of rebuild kits from Atkins so I will be doing a my first true rebuild soon. I am going to build the old cosmo engine and then put the mean streetport engine in one of my other cars, I just don't know which one? Maybe the wagon??????

Yes I have an office at NASA. Well, sorta... just moved out of 1212 year or so ago, now all I have left is my work shop at the flying site (next to the landing gear water rocket sled thing). I am at building 1230 frequently lending support to NASA for there scale 757 project. You work at NASA?

Jerry, how ya been? I know, I've gotten slow and lazy when it comes to my car(read: have a fiance) and I have too many hobbies (Mountain bikes, street bikes {btw, anyone want to buy a Ninja 250?}, pocket bikes, quad runners, nephews dirt bikes etc........).
