After driving my FD for 7 hours back and forth from NoVa, the hot glue started to give. So I took off the homemade brackets and used some JB Weld to secure them in place. Yeah, JB rocks. I'm alot more confident with the cover staying on now.
Oh, until I redid the brackets in JB, I didn't realize that there was a fourth bracket place. I made a third bracket and JB'd it on. This bitch ain't goin' nowhere!

johnny zoom, check you battery connections first, i had mine come loose on and it did this, also check the wires and connectors going to the battery, if they are the same ones that came with your car they could have cracked on the inside and could be causing this. if you have any more info, post again or pm me, i will try ro help as best i can.

it should quiet it down and leave it with no restriction whatsoever seeing as how its a strait through muff
btw if anyone has any spare exhaust flanges im gunna go ahead and put some on the 7 when i finish up the exhaust i need about 4
