yea it did , hahahah but thats why you have the choice to SLOW down or run it like the car should be diven . If you remember I was also back out there 3 weeks later running again .Hell you can get a shell now adays for $200-$400.00 and get a few friends together and swap the good stuff into another shell .

Pete, I am so far from the prep limit of CSP. I am not going to fully prep it, but I would like to get the torsen in the damn thing, that would go a long way towards making it better.

Then you might be able to plan for our events and made it occasionally. You know I don't list them there for my own good, I know about them and plan so I can go to as many as my life commitments will allow.......

thats me james, calvin. i was wandering around the internet and decided to sign up/post some stuff on other hr rotary sites. I'm pretty sure you met me at the aik meet a few saturdays ago. You were an older gentleman, with curly hair i think. The one orgainzing and made plans for the wacky wednesday meet.( i missed because of dumb battery) I was the light skinned tall skinny guy. Brought along a white kid named aaron who's into rx7s. I'll try to make it out to the upcoming meets at aweful arthurs.

James, I remember meeting you, and I am the one you thought. I just didn't get much of a chance to talk to you that night. I liked your car. Glad to see you around.

Did Jake run his RX7 last night. He said that he and Rich were there but didn't see anyone else. Apparently he ran and spun out, but I am not sure which car he was running.

yeah its a non turbo ecu but it runs the car, weirdly. i know i cant boost right with it but . im just making sure she runs steadly. then ill mod it up for the megasquirt. which is done.

I'm trying to get my car up and running asap. i'll come and run. as much as i wouldnt want to, if i hit the wall i hit the wall. i'm making a drift car, i expect to hit a few walls out at the track.

What do you need to finish up the car????

My softball season is about over 1-3 weeks . This will give me another 2 nights in the garage

i need my engine rebuilt, to order my oil cooler line and my header, and to order my clutch master cylinder and get a bit of clutch line, reinstall everything, and build the bracket for a manual tranny and get it put in, and mount some seats and put on an aluminum hood. and thats if i dont wait to get the rest of my exhaust. i also was planning on replacing my water pump and my motor mounts, and swapping my new brake master cylinder from my S4 to the S5. and i need to put in the manual gauge cluster and get three more bolts for my new steering wheel. oh and swap the rims for my vert rims. i am a bit behind haha.

i dont think ill need a MAP after words since the megasquirt will not ever use it .

Pete, everything just always goes that way. I have hundreds of those stories of getting race cars ready for the track the comming weekend, when you thought you had plenty of time, and no matter what getting ready always pushes you up to the last minute.

I am also going to start pushing the RBQ. It is a really good event that some of us should try to make. One day out at the race track, bring your wife, girlfriend, kids if you want. I will probably bring Shelby (my daughter, not my car) with me. It costs the same as the normal ticket for the race for the day, but they feed you, let you take parade laps around the track, and you get to watch some great racing. Bring a folding chair as that might make the event more enjoyable. If you haven't been to VIR, this is a good event to so see what the place looks like. Bring yourself, your car would be nice, but not mandatory, a camera would make it more enjoyable because you will see tons of cool stuff. You will also meet about a hundred other Mazda enthusiasts that you haven't met before. Not all of them are rotary, but most of them are.

oh btw an update on the megasquirt

we got it to start up and run smoother last night (well my dad did while i was at work)

saturday im working while hes gunna be home so he will be working on getting a datalog for startup and warm up
