Well, I decided against screwing in the sides of the cover. Instead I fabbed up a couple of brackets and placed them in the location of the original tab. Used half a glue stick. The upper/lower single tab was pretty decent, so I hot glued that back on.

I go back to NoVa this Sunday. We'll see how it holds up on I95.

LOL, the PO used jb weld, epoxy AND duct tape on the headlight cover. Once I redo it with jb weld, that's all it'll need.

I took the car out last night to get a haircut, the cover was fine. But when I got home I doubled checked the hot glue, it was soft like silicone. I forgot about all that heat. So yeah, JB all the way.

Good luck with that. I don't envy solving all the codes one at a time with a car that has been sitting.

I think I'm going to put a Megasquirt on my 91 T2 when I get some time off, hopefully they will hire some poeple at Circiut City and I can get back to working part time hours. I'm part time, but I average 43hours a week. They are looking for 2 more full time installers in the car stereo dept. and I need more time off to work on my cars.

You can cut the hole with a hole saw or drill a small hole and use a die grinder to open it up. I can cut and weld it for $20. Since the BOV flange is aluminum, your intercooler pipe needs to be aluminum also.
