A new cover would cost about $60-$70. Not sure if they come painted, but whether it is nor not, it won't quite match the rest of the front end. Plus someday the other side is going to come off too. When I do get new covers, I'll still want to bolt them in. They are inherently weak.

Does anyone know who RX7Wishing is and how I can contact him. He has a 3rd gen that burned down and I have been trying to get ahold of him to buy the shell to turn into a track car. Any help would be appreciated.

I thought I saw a red 3rd gen off executive drive yesterday evening trying to imitate the pirates of the carribean theme. LOL! Anyway, I responded to your light fix. You can always ask scarface. I am sure he has some ghetto way of doing it.. He probably bondo up the headlight frame and make a wing and a scoop on it.
Kenny- I am on day shift, have one more night but will call.

Rich, this is the link to Jay's profile. It lists a couple of leads that may help contacting him:

Yours wasn't "special".
Only GTU from the 86-88 years was the 88 GTU. Light hood, 5 lug, 4 piston brakes. T2 seats.
89-91 GTU were the cheap models 5 lug but no four pistons, no power windows
86-91 GXL were the full power cars
Turbos car also. Some even had ABS
Some verts had ABS
GTUs (Which eveybody seems to confuse their cars with one) It the 4:30 rear end, no sunroof, lightweight hood, turbo rims. Rare car.

Guys check out my new old school.
1978 Mazda Cosmo
California car and very, very close to mint.
I need a 13B like yesterday, since this one smoke a little too much for me.
I also need a 13B header.
Willing to trade for some parts or buy outright.

BTW, yeah, that was me yesterday. Ahh, ok, now I get the pirate ref, lol. I tend to think of it as more of a black eye than a patch.
Thanks for the response.
