that fire was mostlikely cause by the location of the sump in the gas tank
you can buy a kit somewhere that fixes the problem and if the kit requires welding call me and we can work something out

I need to get one too. One in each car. I have one in the garage since I had a GSLSE that caught some flames in the exhaust a few years ago. Maybe a group buy for us and we can put the HR Rotary Club Sticker on it and display it in the cars.

Will do Yoshi.
I've FINALLY decided: http://cheapturbo.stores.yahoo.net/garrettto4s601.html
You might want to consider the same one Yoshi, it would be near perfect for your car.

I had the same thing happen to me 4 months after I bought my car but I got the fire out before it destroyed my car. There was a recall for it and the delership told me that ALL recalls had been preformed on my car(B.S.).

They are known for leaking there.

was it calvin or jerry that said that they had a s5 parts car? if so does the car still have the front bumper? price? i think i might want the side molding also if you still have it.
also does anyone extra tranny mounting bolts there is four and the turbo2 starter bolt the one that only holds the starter in place and doesnt go all the way threw the tranny.the one closer to the center of the trans.

Yea, but it'd be freakin fast. Maybe my FB will be faster than your FD.
Traction is going to be an issue tho.
