Johny,
I remeber taking that picture. I am pretty sure it was a Mazda Drivers Association event. It was late on the Sunday of the event.

It says the date is 3/28/04.

Same day I took this one:

I had just gotten that car about 2 weeks earlier. It had an engine with a blown apex seal. I got the engine in and the car running on Thursday before the school, and I got it prepped for the track and finished about noon on Friday and left for the track. It had not been inspected, tagged, or anything. The first lap around the track that weekend was the only time I had driven it other than onto the trailer.

Hey Jerry, sorry I haven't called you back. My son went back to the hospital on Monday. Despite the fact my son's first Cystic Fibrosys test came up negative, since he has so many of the classic symptoms, the doctors sent out a blood sample to do a genetic mapping and they're going to do the same test they did two months ago to make sure they the result wasn't a false negative. We won't get the results for several weeks.
So since my son has a respiratory infection(viral) and he might have CF, our doctor has recommended that he go through antibiotic therapy to prevent any infections occuring due to complications presented by CF. So he will have to stay in the hospital for an addition seven to ten days.

BTW, I'm pretty sure I have that "part" you're looking for. I'll try to give you a call sometime today.
Damn, it's already time for another oil change! Is there any advantage to running 20w50 vs 10w40?

Francisco:

I'm sure we're all counting the days!!!

Knowing you... The Jacuzzi you're talking about is in reality called the Toilet, the Pool is called the Bath tub and the oil resistant paint is probably called the big lots 3.99 painter's choice clear tarp.

Seriously, have fun end enjoy your new house.

The dollar store, Big lots, the local Old Milwaukee's beer distributor and all the good friends you made here will miss you dearly even at the gay parade...

And you know what? speaking of Gay, do you know that there is a city in the US with your name that host the highest population of gay people in the world?. Happy San Francisco day Francisco!!!

Pray for the best, I hope things turn OK for you. I understand you have been busy. Anyway, I need to get a copy of an Old version of Microsoft publisher. We are trying to do a webpage and it won't work with the newer version. I will PM you the site. We don't want it public yet until we can get the bugs worked out.

Thanks,
Jerry

Yoshi - As far as the oil thing, I have heard so many opinions that I don't don't even know what to recommend. I run 20W50 Castrol all year around. I have also heard 10W40 in summer and 20W50 in winter. So you pick which one. I just like to keep the thicker oil.

Speaking for first gens, in all honesty, the oil you use doesn't really make much differeance. It is best to use what is recommended, but the oil requirements of a rotary are far less critical than a piston engine. I know a guy who his wife drove his car for over a hundred miles with no oil. He filled it back up and the engine still lasted to 170,000 miles. I of course done't recommend this, but jsut play it on the safe side and use what the manual says. I use 20W-50 Castrol year round. I have used 10w-40 when it was all I had. When I get my rebuilt engine in my car, I intend to switch to Royal Purple synthetic.

LOL, HTML is the language used the present webpages in a browser. A JSP is a file that contains HTML and Java code to generate HTML for a webpage. In other words, I'm familiar with some aspects of building webpages.

There's a "performance" shop in Hampton, in the same shopping center as Outlaw Radio. They have all the RP products in stock.

Yeah, actually I thought about buying a 5 gallon can. That should last for a few months...
