We got lucky, every once in a while I get friends who call me, in this case Elliot happened to go and saw two RX-7s in the boneyard, we wanted to pull both engines out but one was gone by Sunday.

Update on the pic and pull engine: it runs good, good oil pressure, no overheating issues, the injectors are leaking thru the o-rings and grommets, time to buy ones. But other than that, that is the best $50 pic and pull engine I have seen.

Ok... I thought everyone here would have already seen them....

I guess, I should warn... If you don't have broadband, some of the pictures are pretty slow loading, and there are lots of them.

Dwayne, Are you going to the Richard Petty Driving experience thing? Is that the thing you are doing that day? It should be pretty cool, I am sure you will enjoy it. I have lots of friend that went to it, and they all enjoyed it, except one guy that got it at a going away gift from the place he worked, but that was another story.

Hey Calvin, Im having trouble loggin in at the HR site, I was gonna post on the deals gap thread.

Thanks for noticing my "girls" we went all out I got new leather for "princess" black bolster and white center. Looks sharp Ill have to post a pic.

I only drove the dragon once.........

Im probably the only person there who would say... I dont get it. I mean I can drive like an idiot on the public rd too but whats the point. I guess people who have never driven on a track can act like they are on a road corse or something.but if you run off , you are down a bank and into a tree.
Somebody in a n fc rear ended a fd. I liked seeing the RX's but the weathed sucked and cut it kinda short. I could get blackballed for saying this but my opinion is the dragon is dangerous especially for over agressive drivers.

Johny

So I pick up the Interdynamics R12 to R134a conversion kit at WalMart for $33.97. I open up the kit and examine the adapters that are supposed to go on the low and high pressure lines. I'm thinkin' WTF, this won't fit... So I pop the hood on the car, re-examine the AC lines and voila, they already have the adapter fittings on them. So my car was already converted. Guess I'll take back the kit and just get a couple of cans of R134a.

Johnny, I probably agree with you. I have friends that run hillclimbs, and they talk about how much of a kick it is, but I have seem some really bad wrecks on hillclimbs. But I would sorts like going there to see the nice road and I have heard the scenery is pretty cool, But I would not take anything near any limits. There is online video somewhere of a S2000 that goes over the edge somewhere. It was bad, and I prefer to avoid such things... but to each their own.

yeah i like fast paced things where i dont have to worry about falling over a cliff

but scenic drives are cool but if there is a 18 wheeler commin down that road they take up both lanes in turns so yeah

Thanks for the offer!
Just got back from Walmart. The retro fit kit came with 3 12oz cans of R134a and reusable charging hose with gauge. It would have cost me more to buy all that stuff separately, so the kit stays.

You should go drive in Puerto Rico, there is one treacherous route (Highway#3) Between Maunabo and Yabucoa that makes the dragon look like a lizard, you shouls see how many old school cars and other newer jap cars rip thru the curves. A few years ago, I found it like ordinary and normal. Now when I go on vacation, I dread going that route.

Anyway the are building a tunnel wohoo!!!!!!!!!!!!
