Ordered my GReddy elbow! So it looks like I'm redoing most of my intake. While I'm at it, I think I'll buy a set of those cheap ebay intake pipes.

Anyone have an XP Pro CD I can borrow?

I got the system "running" but I need to repair windows, and I need a CD to do that. Apparantly, when you install all new **** in a system, then use an existing hard drive, the computer won't boot. I get to a windows boot menu, and no matter what option you pick, it'll reboot. Got the answer from the guys I got all the stuff from, so all I'm lacking is the Pro CD.

Help a poor man out!

lol

Yoshi, I know you got CD's out the *** lol.

Well, I've run into a little snag with that. I forgot I had to drill a hole in the cover to suffice for an oil return. I gotta get a AN fitting for it and drill and tap a hole there. Which size to use though...-8?

What size AN line you guys think would make a sufficient oil return from the turbo? -8?

I need to drill and tap the front cover, then I can put it on and get the motor in. Anyone know how to get the shifter tower off the tranny?

I have one, but I'm not sure if it's any good. You're welcome to try it out. If you need help installing it and the OS let me know.

Brian, we're home now. If you want to stop by around 5:30/6:00ish, that'd be cool.

the size depends on your turbo, if its stock I guess that will suffice. I run a -12 with my set-up

I'll be using a T4 60-1 turbo, so I suppose a -12 would be the better option for me.

the normal cooler lines are a -10 equivalent, if that helps as a guideline.

Just wanted to let everyone know . I was able to get the S5 Na block built tonight with all new stuff . still need to finish the front cover and the rest of the small stuff , but this conver will rolling real soon , if anyone is looking for a convert , just pm me

You'd have to check your VIN info Ren and see what options it came with. It could have been a dealer added option, or something a previous owner decided to put on, or it could have been one of the 5000 released.

Thanks for the info on the turbo oil return lines. -10 it is.

Monty,

Yeah, I've browsed there a few times, but I was able to find most of the answers to my questions in the Haltech section of this forum.

I drove my FD to the HairCuttery in York County, by the Regal. After my haircut was done I got back to my car, I found a note on it. Some guy named Dennis left me a note saying he was looking for a rotary mechanic to work on his 93 VR Touring FD. Anyone know this guy?

We're picky about who cuts our hair. I have a nice Vietnamese lady that does mine, and Meg has another one that does hers.

I just called the guy. Wasn't there, but his voicemail message sounds like he's an older guy. Bet he's an original owner.
