Hey REDNECK, you have to hook up with Mr rx-7 tt. He built my 13B engine. He used to have a 1st. gen, now he tinkers with and drives a 3rd. Gen.
Do a search for his name, I suspect he hangs around the 3rd. Gen section of this site.

hell, a turbo timer is easy......just some simple wireing...... --- previous owner thought so too and now I have a non functioning ignition switch, push button start, and a non functioning turbo timer...could be something simple that he did wrong but I'm not familiar with wiring, Hence my wanting a friend in the area.

what time is the auto X? I got my name on the list to get in...I'm new at this though.
oh yeah and I accidentally broke the back end loose at 45mph tonight...that was not fun...in a 90 deg. turn... I kept her behind me, and drove much slower the rest of the ride.

Hey guys, I'm finally back from the Bahamas! Actually, I spent 2 days in the Bahamas and 35 days doing circles in the Atlantic. I see that a lot of people are talking about this autoX event. I won't be able to make it, but anyone have some ideas for another get together, or just wait till after the holidays. My car still pulls hard. I love this cold air! I hit .99 BAR or approx. 14 psi this morning. My PFC said that the air intake temp was only 29 degrees C. Anyway, it's good to be back, and hope to see you guys around sometime.

and now a Funny Story: an RX-8 was trying to be a badass last night on the highway (264 at Portsmouth Blvd) and tried to pass me on the acceleration lane, overshot it and spun out...a full 360 at about 75mph...didn't hit a thing, but he stopped traffic completely and then just drove on like nothing had happened...it was pretty funny. I doubt the police would have seen it as funny. ok, merry christmas everyone.

Well, I won't be showing up to any events for a while. Sunday morning, on my way home from duty, I lost control of my car. I don't know if my brakes didn't engage or the road was extremely cold, but I didn't stop until it was too late. There isn't a single tire mark on the street or tracks to where my car stopped in the field. I hit the curb (luckily, it was kinda low) and slid another 30 or so yards into the field, stopping in between a pole and a tree. Yep, missed them both. Both driver side wheels are cracked, and the front left side was sitting on the ground. Cosmetic estimates alone are already over $2,000. They haven't even looked at the front suspension yet. So, in turn, watch the roads on cold mornings, and may your holidays be happier than mine has started out. I'll let you know once she's back in commission

Oh yeah, I go out to VA Beach all the time. I guess that is worse, because your insurance won't cover that. The first insurance guy told me that because of my car's age, they might have to consider it totaled. I was just like-**** that! I just spent almost $10K on it. All that's messed up is the trim, molding, and the front suspension. Good luck with the engine man!

Hey Red sorry to hear that...Hope everything works though.
redneck ya that was me. I was looking around to see if i could see ya but noone came up. So what did u think of the course? On my last run i was doing REAL good. The last turn i came in too fast off the short salom and took out 3 cones. I don't remember what my time was though.

That was the first autocross I'd ever been to...how do you figure out where to go????? It was confusing but it looked like some serious fun and I had fun riding with that guy. I didn't try because my car has some serious rubbing problems with the stock sized tires and rims (which I'm trying to figure out if you have any suggestions, I think that I bought it lowered and they neglected to tell me and the rims are aftermarket 16's but I don't think that the backspacing is right). Anyway, how do you prepare for those things? I mean I'm guessing that my times would have been measured in minutes, not seconds, if I had tried... Merry Christmas. Ryan.
