id maybe able to dish out 100.00 bucks max for that correct harness i need....sadly havent been payed yeat....and due to another setback i also just lost my job...not to my doing so im also looking for work again....so that put my project on hold once again.....
question from valerie: why does my car fell like its looseing power for the top end some times it fells like crap on the freeway and i can barly hold 60 mph.....and other times it runs fine? i have a 85 manual , its a basic model se i think
me again "monty" from what i can see i think its her carb....when she floored it i noticed the fuel only shot in the primary ports not the secondaries even if it was at 5000 rpm. she also did mention she has this weird noise in her exhaust could that also have a roll in her malfuntion. needs a tune up perhaps? she had a oil change done not to long ago...and the spark plugs and wires are in good shape. she does have a small leak in one of her hard plastic lines on the front of the motor but thats been there before the car started this ......

The accelerator pump only shoots gas in the primary barrels. Make sure that she is getting gas at the secondaries by quickly flooring the motor from just off idle. You'll see like a "spray" of fuel going into the intake. The 2 streams when you move the gas pedal are the accelerator pump.
Basically, you gotta check to make sure the secondaries are even working.
You're going to want to fix the OMP lines (plastic lines on the front of the motor) before too long. Rotaries rely on that slight mist of oil to lube the apex seals.
I don't think there's a "basic" model -se first gen. There's the S, GS, GSL, and GSL-SE for valerie's car. If it's carbed, it's most likely a GS, or a GSL. Check for rear disc brakes. If she's got disc brakes and a carbureted 12A, then it's a GSL. If it's got drums then is most likely a GS.

Actually a junkyard would probly be your best bet. Either that or the for sale section here. You might find some luck on ebay, but that's always hit and miss.
If there's a ton of black **** in the carb, then yea, clean it out and rebuild it.
Does anyone know where a good place to make a custom downpipe would be for the T4 turbo I have?
I need some info on the fuel system too. I'm going to be running the Walbro 255 pump and 3/8 hard line to the engine bay with some AN lines and SS lines at the tank end and the engine bay. Do you think the stock pickup is too restrictive to supply the amount of fuel I need?

Mazdatrix lists them for $16.51 and $18.07 for the two lines.

Your other alternative is to get the small oil hose that is available from any auto parts store and use it, or you could make them from the teflon oil lines for like an oil pressure guage. It is not really difficult, and this is not a high pressure application so it is not all tha critical.

I didn't think the wiper transmission could go bad unless it rusted up and froze, or the bushings went bad. I'd try to get the wiper motor first. Those things aren't that expensive.
VA- I'm shooting for the 300-350 RWHP range with the T04 turbo and FMIC.

NOOOO!
I just got a PM from the guy selling my E6K and he said the car was broken into, harness cut and the ECU stolen...
So now I'm screwed until I can find another one. Son of a bitch...just when I thought I'd be up and running in a month or 2. Well, at least I can still put the motor in, take the emissions off and bolt the turbo and manifold up.
