What is your question here? I will tell you that I think most big brake kits on an FB will make it slower on most race tracks. The exception in your case is when someone has added a turbo or something. My reasoning is that I may be doing something like this.

You have to realize that people really don't make rims for 4x110 FB's, and you expect them to make brakes for that? I am converting my car to 5 bolt rims with the big FC brakes. I will need custom axles for my car, but everything else I have.

If you are just talking pads or whatever, Hawk makes them, along with others. The hundreds of Spec RX7's racing all over the country with the brakes avaialble, and nobody really hd brake problems.

We've got baby!!! Keannan Joseph Jiro Russell was born at 7:48 this evening. Both baby and mommy are doing well. Thank goodness this is the last baby. After four births, I don't think I could take the stress of another one.

Sweet! Thanks. I'm thinkin' about starting an RX-7 clothing line for my kids. Like shirts and stuff that say, "When I grow up, I want to drive my daddy's RX-7/FB/FC/FD/Red Car" with car pics. They already love to ride in it!

LOL, yeah, too true. I drove the wife to Mary Immaculate Hospital in the FD this morning. On the way home from the hospital tonight, some big *** Ford pickup wanted to play rough. I could have swerved the **** through the onramp to 64 and beat the **** out of him on the highway, but it just really wasn't the time nor PLACE to do it.

I'll be 36 in a few months. It's amazing how much more conservative I get with each new year and new child, lol.

Getting older is good. It allows us to watch our children grow up and hopefully, our grandchildren.

Anytime now, Cal will tell us of the joy of college tuition payments!

Hello Everyone, I have been on vacation to Sunny Florida. I see there has been some good news around here. Congrats to Yoshi! Hello to all, Happy New Year! I know that I am late but better late than never. Florida was great but I didn't want to come back. I am seriously considering moving down there.

Yoshi, congrats on the baby, hope everything goes well!!!!

FWIW, on your clothing line, some of you make know that my daughter is named Shelby, and I have a Shelby GT350, and used to have a Shelby Cobra. On Shelby's first hlloween we made her a Shelby costume. It was white jumpsuit with wide blue stripes and the GT350 side stripes down both sides. We always say Shelby's first costume was as a Shelby.... (weak I know).

College tuition.... Ick.... When I get uptight about it, I think about George Samuels (guy with the 20B FC vert near DC) who is currently paying 4 college tuitions, while he works 2 full time jobs.

You can go pretty wide, but with stock fenders, I would go with a 7" wide rim with 205 tires. And BTW, those rims are heavy as ****. They're made of steel. The ultralightweights will taco on the street. I've looked at these wheels, and I didn't like them.

diamond has been supplying spec rx-7 guys for a while now.. they can fix you up with what you need for backspaceing. 7" width will be about it.

I beg to differ, I have bought diamond wheels before... they are lighter than many aluminum wheels I've handled.
