hey guys /gals just checking in , and here is an update. About 11:30 last night , I had to take the wife to the hospital for baby issues . About 2 hrs later WE had our 1st son . Everyone is doing great , but mom will have to stay in the hospital a few day and the baby " kevin " will have to stay a few more days . But after an hour of sleep and getting my crew on the road this morning , I am running home to change clothes and head back up to the hospital . Hope to update you guys a little more at a later time

Congrats Kenny!!!
Monty, Here is some of the info for the autocross:
http://beachcomberscorvetteclub.com/
scroll down to where it says "Attention Autocrossers". Some of the info is there. Online regiatration is not currently open. it usually opens 2 weeks before the event, so check back then.
To answer your other questions:
1) You need to register before the event preferably, but at that event you can just show up and register that day, just get there by 10AM.
2) There is an entry fee to run (spectating is free). it is $20 I think and that is pretty typical for most local autocrosses.
3) It is held at the Pungo Fairgrounds. I will gove you instructions later, but do a mapquest or google map on "Pungo Pizza and Ice Cream" as that is reight next door to the site.
4) Yes, you use your own car for the event.
5) meetup site is going away shortly, jsut be patient.

Whats up guys, Congradulations Kenny.
We went to VIR on Fri. to run holiday laps I got to take my 75 year old dad in my car we got up to 125 on the front stretch.
And while we're on the subject of Kids I have a daughter who is 12, and knows everything, they are a blessing.

Holiday laps sounded fun. I am looking forward to the Patriot course event in Feb. I think that will be my next track event of any sort. I do expect to be at that Pungo autocrosses. FWIW one of the local clubs may have lined up a new autocross site. If it works out there will be another great place to autocross around here.

Last year I gave my sister charcoal for Christmas. I really thought I was doing a 'neat' thing, with ulterior motives of course. The charcoal wasn't your average run of the mill kingsford brickette. It was a large lump of.. well, charcoal nicely displayed in a bowl and a tag indicating how it it's good feng shui and helped to absorb bad energy. That sorta thing.
Of course it was Christmas and I was giving my sister coal. Heheh..
This year she sent me this...
Yes.. it's two stuffed frogs. One has horns. I need suggestions how to out-do this one.
