No, but I do have most of the thermactor system if you change your mind. I should lay out the system and see what I am missing and see if someone would want it. It has been sawed in one of the pipes, but I can weld that up.

I just posted bunch of upcomming events in the events section of the meetup site. If anyone else knows about something I should put up there let me know. I think just want to let people know about what is happening.

Here is the link to the events section:

How many of the Extremem Wednesdays are left this year. I want to make one before the year is over. I also want to get some of you guys to come out to one of the next few autocrosses. You will enjoy 'em.

I figure we can make an effort to get a bunch of us to at least one of the Extreme Wednesdays... We just have to co-ordinate and get one.

Update

Had a few friends show up trying to help me make Wachy Wedn last night , We got the car runing at 7:05 pm , Threw 4 tires on it ,took the car off the jacks and busted butt down the road . Made it as far as my neighbors house before I noticed a bent rim on the rear and then I blew an oil line ( I think) . I had enough time to push the car in the driveway and jump in a buddies car and watch the races . Oh well I have another week to getherdone.

BTW the had over 40 cars out there last night , What a blast

10-12 is the last one , so you have to have won to race in that race ( I think)

So we have 3 events left counting the final which you have to have won. I want to list them in the events section hoping that you will be there running one of the nights. I will try to run the first one in October. I don't think I can run next week.

The group buy on the first gen big brake kits ends tomorrow (23rd) and they are 2 kits short of getting to the bottom price break ($105/each) so I am encouraging any of you guys sitting on the fence about this to sign up for it. Here is the link to sign up.

https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showthread.php?t=461164

You guys putting the TII in the first gens need these. Also gives you more wheel choices.

Cripes, don't check for a day and you guys write 2 pages worth of info.

Progress on the swap: Bought an S5 TII AFM. I haven't had the time to take the old 12a out. Between work and school, it's a bitch. I think I'm going to try to do something with it sunday. The motor should be out then. Sorry whoever asked, the whole RB SP system has been sold. Carb/intake is sold. I still have the 2GCDFIS w/ tt for sale. Works awesome...Calvin? Trade for oil pan & front cover? Everything you need including the coil.

Anyone know what the spring and plunger thing is in the snout of the e-shaft? (TII Motor).

After I get the front cover and oil pan, it should be a matter of a few weeks to get it in. Renegade, What did you do about the motor mount? Did the stocker GSL mount work with the -SE front cover? Also, was it an S4 or S5 motor in the GSL? If S5, what'd you do about the OMP?

Things seem like they're going to be rolling in a few months. Just need to buy a damn HKS BOV. Cripes those are expensive.

I don't know much about it, but here is a thing that Atkins makes to replce it. They talk about it on the rebuild video (if you want to borrow it let me know). I don't know what they do or why, but our FB's don't have them.

OHhhh....I see now. It's a temp spring that opens when the oil reaches a certain temp. I think I may buy that.

Yeah, that is apparently what it is, but I can't see a reason for having it unless you live in a frozen tundra type place.

That spring and pellet inside is what makes you engine build pressure, regularly at least minimum 30psi to 45psi and 60psi and above when you womp on it. Atkins and a few others have the bypass pellet, a good upgrade to keep your oil pressure high and steady. 84-85 13B and 12A engines do not have it.

Lovintha 7- You need to get a GSLSE front cover and a 84-85 13B oil pan, you can't use a older 13B oil pan as it will not clear the crossmember. Trust me I tried already. Engine mounts the same way as a 12 bolted, you need to notch the front engine mount, or get a GSLSE crossmember to put the 13B.

Hey Jerry, did my first plug change on the FD. Worst 3 hours of my life! I'm hoping when the plug wires get in, I won't have to remove the TPS just to install them.......

I had to use the stock jack to raise the car high enough to use the floor jack. Took out the back rotor plugs from above. Removed the intake elbow and removed the leading front and got the trailing front plug from below.......
