Well it wasnt pretty
Ther guy in the S 4 was Matts friend Shawn . He said he had a blast and would be back out . The 1st gen , I never got his name and the 3rd gen was Rich Wade . The night was way to short . I spun out and wrecked on turn 2 durriing the time attacks . The car is totaled but I hope to be racing next week in another body . We took some pics , but I have to figure how to post them . I put some different tires on the front and the car was just squirley as hell. Oh well keep your fingers crossed for next week . Thanks Renagade for making it out last night , and sorry for ending it so early . Does anyont need any S 4 TII parts ( blue interrior )

Damn, sorry about the car. What kind of tires did you put on the front end? Last night turned out to be "parents night out" again. I tried to get my wife to go to Langley, but she wouldn't go for it, lol. We ended up going to a movie. You can probably post the pics at our meetup website.

BTW, did anyone know that there's a Rotary St off of Aberdeen Rd in Hampton. I noticed it when I stopped by my mother in law's office. I haven't stolen a street sign since high school, but it's mighty tempting........

yuichiror - I noticed it a few years ago, there are a couple of machine shops down there. I had to get some BBS wheels fixed when I wrecked my vert many years ago.
VaGambler - I feel for you, I know there was a lot of work involved. Hopefully you have a decent body to put your stuff in.

Well, that sucks... I am guessing you put the new tires on the front and the stuck and the ones on the rear would not stick as well and you sort of lost the rear first? Is that right? So I am guessing you only got 2 of the V700's then? If that is the cars, you need the pair I have to go with them. That should restore some of the balance... at least to where it is drivable again. Problem is that when you make the car corner better, you also make the car hit harder when you run into something.

Just to mention things going on, we have two events worthwile this weekend. Saturday is the RX8 club's "All Car Club" Bar-B-Que at Mount Trashmore. Here is the link to the information:
http://rx7.meetup.com/55/events/4750945/
On Sunday there is the Car Show & Shine Fundraiser at AIK (the kart racing place we all like to race at). The car show is basically from 1-6PM and they want the entrants to start arriving at 9AM. We all know that if we are going to be there all day long that we are going to spend plenty of time racing the karts. There will be other car clubs there as well, so maybe a challenge between clubs???? Hummmm.... Anyway for more information here is the link:
http://rx7.meetup.com/55/events/4744515/
Be sure to RSVP if you can on the meetup site so we have some idea of who is going to be there.

Actually
Actually I had the new tires on the front , I guess they did not get warmed up enough , and away I went . I got all 4 tires and rims , but noticed I had a bent rim in the rear just before I left for the race so I had to through a set of 255 x 16 back on . They worked great last week . Hey Calvin are you volunteering to be a test driver after I get this thing switched over ???, hahahaha

Test driver... sure... I am always up for that (as long as I can find time).
That is what I thought the new tires on the front... The rear washed out I am guessing. So I guess they allow tires like the V700's then. I am surprised.
