My starter just took a dump on me ... I should be able to fix it tomorrow morning if I have an extra starter in my garage.

Hey Koryu $700 OBO ... but more on the best offer side cause its in the way ... also the motor comes with a new headgasket and other maintenance parts ... He was thinking of repairing the motor til I talked him into a v6 swap.

 

hows the motor other than the headgasket? how many miles? the turbo? any shaft play? rod knock? anything?

My cousin is looking at buying a Ranger or some equivalent small truck. Hey Sean was it te starter in the SE? I don't think the starters are the same for the
SE's as the other FB's, other wise i'd just let you borrow mine until you got one LOL

 

Hey, "DaGoat," do you ever ride through bel air or white marsh MD? I think I may have seen you if you have because every so often I'll spot a really mean lookin black FD.

 

Jon's FD has been down for quite a while. Should finish up the build in the Spring I think

Anybody know a Brave Blue S5 with blingin rims? Saw it today at the intersection of Halfway BLVD and Virginia Ave. It made a left turn onto Virginia Ave from HAlfway Blvd. Looked completely stock except for the rims

The motor was in good condition ... The motor only heated up on him once and he shut the motor down ... The motor had higher miles on it but it seem to be well maintained ... only reason he went v6 is cause that is a swap we are working on and the potential is much higher with the v6 setup than in the 3S 4cylinder ... not to mention he love 6cyl power ... I know that he bought another ct26 in good shape with no shaft play ... no rod knock or valvetrain noises ...

 

Yeah ... it was the SE ... I have not worked on my FC yet ... just bought the rebuild kit for the 3rd gen motor and materials to make my mounts ...

The SE starter is the same as an FC starter since it has a 13B ... It would have been up quickly til I found out that the mounting bolts are broken off in the bell housing ... its a really tight fit so I will have to get the motorset to drop down some so I can drill the bolt and extract it ...

I saw that car sitting at the babrbershop, but never stopped to see who it belonged to ...
