Hey anybody in or around the Hagertsown area? Since I've gotten my FB I've seen 2 or 3 FBs, 3 FCs, and 1 FD. Just wanted to see if anyone was out there

Yeah, im Jon. I own the black FD...Just dropped my engine at KDR this weekend.

Theres a kid with a gun metle FB, another grey FB a guy bought his son, two white FBs, one royal blue one, another red FB whos owner I just met last week, I also own a light blue GSL-SE, im about to buy an NA FC and drop the engine in my first gen. My FD will be up and running in just under a month I hope. There is Sean and his 10th Ann. The white car you saw, I talked to him a few months ago cool guy, there is also another FC owner, red car in hagerstown. Ling owns a silver FD which is about to get out of the body shop, Ive seen one other black one with a wing and again, mine.

Thats 12 I know of personally. I think the "Hagerstown" Thread should be our own thread like Maryland Guys. What do you say? Im really looking forward to a few car shows this season, it would be nice to have a booth with 12 Rotaries representing along with a Turbo Civic EP and a few WRXs and an Evo, even a 2.0L Saab Turbo. Another Turbo EG Civic coupe that just broke into 12s.

A couple of us went to Hyperfest last summer and had a blast on track doing the hyperdrive. I drift myself, havent had a car to do it with yet. I plan on reparing teh FC and selling it, if its still around by this season im going to drift it every chance I get.

If you want man we have a 1600 Sq Ft garage in town we do our work at. After my engine is worked on at KDR I am doing my own assembly in our garage. It would be nice to have another RX7 enthusiast hanging out.

Awesome guys. Yeah this should be our own little thread. I've got some big plans for my 7, which are all centered around the S5 turbo I have sitting in my room. My buddy John Sines has an 86 NA. He wont have it on the road until Spring though. Last I heard he was buying a parts car as well. Sometime this year we should all head down to Summit Point raceway in WV with Sines, he works pit there. You get to see some intense racing. But yeah guys hit me up whenever you're free. I get out of school at 12:20, or I will be for the next few weeks. See you guys soon

 

Hot. I was just running on the Jefferson Circuit at the last Hyperfest. It is a great place to hang. As a matter of fact I know of John. He used to hang out at the garage we now rent when it was rented by a guy named Tim Stephens who races an MR2 at summit point.

 

Yeah I bought my carb off of Tim. Great guy. What time are you guys usually free?

 

I just moved outside of Boonsboro from Frederick, that's pretty close to Hagerstown... I've got a red FD.

I'm not doing a whole lot. I think we should have like a local meet instead of going all the way to Columbia. JMO

 

My 7 is mothballed till the spring, not to mention I've got some boost issues to work out (imagine that).

 

Nah, were definitly going to the Columbia meet. If anyone wants to ride I have an older accord im taking down. The meet is supposed to be be at like 1 or 2 so we have a few minutes to meet up if anyone wants to.

So SEAN messed up...Our own little private columbia meet sucked. We did manage to get lost and find this Korean place called, ready for this, PHO Real! I couldnt get enough of that. So we went and got Boba and Large bowls of Pho, which was the greatest thing I had eaten in a while. Also ended up finding a GSL FB parked like right around the corner from the Fudruckers..gona see if we can get that.

I did manage to pick up my GXL FC today. I want to go work on it but Teusday nights is Auto Auction night and I have yet to actually go. If I cant get ahold of Sean I will head out to the garage and work on getting the OMP swapped out. Also need to clean up the plugs and swap wires.

How does everyone feel about getting together this weekend, friday/saturday night? Sunday afternoon even?

 

Man that sucks that it didn't turn out great. I still say we have a local meet here in Hagerstown somewhere. It depends on how I'm scheduled to work this weekend as to whether I can make it for a meet up. If you guys aren't busy some time during the week I can meet up. Just let me know what you guys are doing

 

Well we can all discuss that here. I like the idea of heading down to Frederick for some sushi. There is a resturaunt that has a really decent parking lot that could fit quite a few of us without being to packed.

Actually I sent out a few PMs and made some calls. Dave hasent called me back yet and no one has replied via PM. Im going to go out to the yard friday and see whats out there if anything.

Rotary Ressurrection has one ... $100 ... there was a 89 FC in the Junyard ... You might get lucky ... but it may be a busted OMP also ... at least the one from RR is guaranteed to be from a running car and in working order.

 

Uh, yeah, all of the 7s in the yard are S4s and I just bought one this morning for 60 Shipped.

 

I dont think anyone was doing anything this weekend and we still werent able to get together.
