Well, I got it to pass inspection without even having to do the injectors. My mechanic said he just had to call the registry and explain something to them, so it's all done until I come across a set of injectors.

Dude, you're in Australia, I'm in Rhode Island.
Price drop, $4600 cash. I think the rear wheel bearing is going bad, and my mechanic told me he doesn't ever want to see it again, LOL. It has a valid RI inspection sticker through Feb 2009 now. Check engine light came back on, it needs a thermostat. So, thermostat and wheel bearing, it's good to go. I'm not putting any more money into it, though. I took care of the A/C blower motor, that was $400.

Why are you replacing it anyway, do you have no heat, or is it overheating?

but yes, sounds like a t-stat stuck open. Good luck with it.

OK, the Audi needs to seriously be sold, I got a 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GTP now for a DD.
Check engine light is fixed, the car is as perfect as I can get it.
The power steering rack failed, so I just bought a new one and had it installed.
$4300 cash.
