Detailing Before Rotorfest!
Hey everyone! If you remember from last year's Rotorfest (2006), my brother's (Goodfellafd3s) FD won best of show for the FD class. I detailed his and my fathers car for Rotorfest (I had flyers on the cars). I know a lot of you detail your cars yourself, but I am available for professional grade detailing.
Here is another example of a car I recently detailed. It's Ihors Ford Mustang Cobra (Rotary Experiment Seven). Mods, please don't move this to the visual section, b/c I am aiming this towards the individuals living in the tri-state area, thanks!
As you can see, I performed a complete detail. Wash, clay bar, polish, wax, wheels, tires, calipers, exhaust, trim, interior, and engine bay. I currently am a student attending the College of Business at James Madison University and I detail mostly high-end sports cars during the summer (I can detail any car). I have worked on Rx-7s and BMWs to Toyotas and Jeeps.
I am able to come to your location (given you have a hose and a vaccum) or you can bring the car to me. I live in Morristown, NJ and I am willing to travel to your location.
Depending on the condition of the car (how dirty it is) and what you want done to it, prices range from $50-150. (Prices are negotiable)
Just thought I would offer this service and share some pictures. PM me if you are interested.

I was adjusting the seats as Ryan was detailing so they were being moved in and out of the car several times. I provided him with Zaino products that I wanted used, but I think he will use whatever you want. He spent alot of time on the car as I wanted it gone over with 3M compound first to get out some swirls. The Zaino itself is a multi-step process that can take a bit but definately worth it.

I use Eagle One wax. As far as the marks go, try using body scrub/paint cleaner, should do the trick.
BTW-prices are negotiable

That is why we used 3m fine cut compound with an orbital buffer first. Zaino won't do much for swirled or oxidized paint by itself.

i would like to take some compound to my car but scared shitless of using it. especially with a orbital buffer.

Random orbital buffer. Don't use alot of pressure or stay in one place for too long. Let the machine do the work. Be especially careful on edges where paint is thinner. That said, I have never damaged paint when using one.
