I regret to inform everyone on here that I have sold my fc. I will miss it and I already do more than I thought I would, I have so many memories in that car. Priorities come first though, and I need a house. I predict that I will get back into the rotary game at some point in the future though. You guys might see me again sometime! Till then... farewell

I was wondering, how often do they have events up there or in other local areas?
And no problem, it's an awesome car.

WDCR SCCA
There are also a ton of other clubs in the area,
Autocrossers inc. race in waldorf at the blue crabs stadium
Capital Driving club race in frederick, bowie, and some other venues.
BMWCCA, prosche, mercedes clubs all have autocrosses in the area too...
probably some other smaller ones I'm forgetting

Also, Mazda club (MSCW) is having an event on the Sunday the 18th at Bowie. I may go if others are interested. Any takers?

Hey guys I'm cleaning out some parts in my garage since my FC is gone. I need these parts gone so hopefully someone can take them off my hands. I'm going to post this in my local forums first before I make a for sale thread / craigslist add.
Shoot me a PM if you need/want anything.

Hey anyone know a good place to get a 13b rebuilt in the area? Pretty sure seals just went out. Trying to figure out somewhere with a quick turnaround and not overpriced. PFS is all I'm finding tho. Also, if I just wanted to rebuild it myself if it's just apex seals where can I get a set of goopy's for a good price. 93 CYM fd btw. Thanks

Some other shops in the area that I don't have any first hand experience with are First To Win in Sterling VA and moneymaker42141983's shop Unique Precision Rotary .LLC in Mt. Airy MD.
If you want the best in the area and can tow the car a bit, I'd take it up to Speed1 in Lenhartsville, PA. I've heard nothing but good things about their operation.
Did you blow the engine or does it just have low compression? From personal experience, you will likely need to replace something else internally if you blew the engine seals. You rarely can just replace them and go. I'd also factor in some money for new housings too if you want it to last. If you are concerned with price more than time, do it yourself and be meticulous about everything. If you are more concerned with getting it running quickly, be prepared to pay for it.
IMO you can't have it both ways. If you do happen to find someone to rebuild it and replace it in the car for you for cheap/fast, I'd be concerned about the long term reliability of the car. Most of the trusted guys who know what they are doing have a waiting list.

Do not go to PFS they will not be quick, nor will they be cheap. There is also RP Performance out at Summit Point, they are also not quick or cheap.
