Come to Canada for a meet! ;)
Hey guys,
Thought I'd pass on the info to you guys South of the border. It'd be great to see some of you come up plus I'm sure you'd enjoy it. It's an annual meet and it gets bigger every year. Definitely the biggest meet for Eastern Canada. It's the weekend of May 21st and May 22nd in Ottawa, Ontario. Ottawa isn't too far from the border, depending on which crossing you take - maybe an hour and a bit or so from NY State. There are lots of cheap hotels nearby and a few people's places to crash. We're having a show'n'shine at the Corel Centre (where the NHL Senator's play) and a fun BBQ, etc for the rest of the day. On the 22nd there's an amazing cruise through Quebec (the province is just across a bridge from Ottawa)...it will include some amazing scenery and some great driving. Anyhow, I'm not organizing this meet but I just wanted to pass the word along to see if any of you guys were interested. I'm definitely going to be trying to make some more State-side meets in the near future. Well, if you are interested - check out this thread in the Canadian section:

Take care, -Joe

Hey guys, I was looking this up for 88t2romad. I got a Mapquest map and directions from Syracuse to where we're meeting on Saturday.
http://www.mapquest.com/directions/m...nata&2s=ON&2z=
There's the cruise on Sunday through Quebec. Even though the province is beside Ontario, the bridge to cross provinces is only 20 mins from where we are. The Sunday cruise is probably the most fun and exilerating drive you'll ever have in your car - it's full of twists, turns, hills and beautiful scenery. If you haven't been to Canada before, both days are also great times to check things out. I guarantee a great time

your going to the GP too? Me and a friend are going too. I don't think I'll be able to make the Ottawa meet, but would definitely be interested in meeting some of you guys while we're up in Montreal for the GP.
