Yes that was a very fun time. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed meeting everyone. Only wish I could have made the drive home with a few more Mazdas. That was quite a twisty little road. We will be much better prepared for our next get together.

dawg, you sold the RX8? What's the story on that? Glad to hear you're staying in the rotary family though, send a pic when you can and I'll swap it out with the "old" RX8 picture on the CVMC site.

First meet for 2009 ... Saturday the 21st!
A drive to Appomattox surrender grounds for the history buffs, then off to the geographical center of Virginia (just to say we did) and the final stop of the day will be lunch at Devil's Backbone Brewing Company. Oh, and then a spirited drive home!

But we really had a good group and good turn out. Hope when you get back in May you will be adding to a growing family of Mazda fans!

someone pm me when the next event goes down. I amfrom the harrisonburg area (hour north lynchburg 45 minutes west of cville) and i currently live in chapel hill so danville isnt too far to meet up with some people. Plus NC sucks i am back in va about every other weekend.

We'll be at VIR in Danville the 24th, 25th and 26th for the Bosch Engineering 250 races Drift. Of course so will several clubs from down your way. Maybe we'll see you there.

Drift...that word seems to be slung in there to attract my attention. I see thre is going to be tdi cup and star mazda. is it all spectator at this event or do they have some side action happening

it may well indeed. I went to the one last year and it failed. You get that rew tuned in your 10 ae. I was the red head that rode with your at vir lapping days if you dont remember
