Central Ohio Guys, I need help ASAP
Hi everyone,
I've hit a MAJOR snag in my 20b conversion: attaching the transmission to the engine. Simply put, I need some help with it ASAP. The car's already prepped and ready to go, just need to get the transmission in now in order to clear out the hatch and get the battery wired up in order to install the haltech, get the radiator and oil cooler finalized & plumbed in with universal flexible hoses.
Since I'm in Lancaster, I'd like to ask that if anyone in the Columbus/Chilicothe/Newark areas has some spare time in the next day or so, please get ahold of me ASAP. Best way is to call/text me at 740-407-2974. Sooner is better though.
Also, if you have a spare stock FC engine mount, I'd be very appreciative since one of mine tore in half 2 days ago (a week after replacing the other one for the same reason!). I can work around the torn mount for a couple days, getting wiring and whatnot done, but I'll need one very soon to get the exhaust done.
In return, I'm more than willing to return the favor since winter is coming VERY soon. You'll also get credit in my build thread "The 12 Days of Rotormas" and as an added bonus, a copy of Mazda's EPC for Japan and my VIN research data which includes VIN numbers for a couple 12A Turbo FB's, Infini I-IV FC's, Spirit R Type A, B and C FD's, and a few 20B Cosmo VINs too. Input the VIN and you can see what each one came with from the factory. Want REAL Infini IV or Spirit R seats? I got those part numbers already on hand too.
Arigato Gozaymasu minna-san,
Travis
PS. If you have a spare S4T2 tan top fuel injector, please bring it along and I'll make it worth your while

UPDATE: I got some help with the transmission coming today, but still need an engine mount
If anyone in central ohio has a s4t2 injector and engine mount and could bring them here for me, I'm offering a choice of FD alternator or S4 Turbocharger for trade. The FD Alt is in great shape, puts out a solid 14 volts and never gave me any problems. The turbo's in good overall shape, no side to side shaft plate and maybe 1mm front to back play at most. Spins nice and freely too. Previous owner said it doesn't smoke but I can't guarantee it since I never saw it installed.
thanks,
Travis
